Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install the product.
Before beginning installation, ensure all parts are present. Compare parts with the package contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or operate the product. Estimated assembly time: 40 - 60 minutes.
To ensure a long-lasting finish: 1. Remove locks, or do not install locks, prior to painting your door. 2. Periodically clean with mild soap and a soft cloth only. Do not use abrasives or harsh chemicals and avoid sharp objects.
Do not use any chemical liquid or lubricating oil with additives to clean the lock body. It will damage the surface or even the mainboard.
The electronic deadbolt features a keypad on the exterior and an assembly on the interior. The exterior keypad includes numbered buttons and a programming button. The interior assembly includes a turn-piece, battery compartment, and reset button.
Keep the door open while programming to avoid accidental lockout. The lock contains one factory-preset user code and can store up to ten additional unique user codes. Codes can be added and deleted at any time. For first-time programming, use the factory default programming code. It is recommended to change the default programming code and default user code immediately after installation.

Problem | Possible Cause | Corrective Action |
---|---|---|
After installing lockset and batteries, door can't be locked and three short beeps are emitted when Programming button is pressed. | The door-handing identification process isn't yet complete. | Refer to step 1. |
You've installed lockset and batteries, but no response when any button is pressed. | Batteries were installed incorrectly. | Check if battery polarities are reversed or if battery is dead. If so, re-install or change the battery. If not, check if the cable is properly connected. |
During door-handing identification, red light flashes three times and three short beeps are heard. | Wrong door-handing or change of door-handing in memory. | Press the R button to restore system to factory default setting and re-execute door-handing identifying process (Refer to step 1). |
Although door-handing identification was successful, latch still doesn't work (motor attempts to run, but latch bolt is stuck, and turnpiece can't be rotated). | Low battery. | Replace with new alkaline batteries. |
Electronic deadbolt functioned normally, but latch bolt suddenly locks up, and turnpiece inside can't be rotated, even with a key. | The deadbolt latch is stuck due to a warped door or misaligned door. | First, take out one battery, then press any button on the front panel for electric discharge, and put the battery back in. The latch bolt will automatically re-detect its position. Note: If the latch gets stuck frequently, check and fix the alignment of the deadbolt latch & strike plate. |
Door can be locked normally, but when trying to unlock, three short beeps are heard and lock won't unlock when user code is entered and programming button is pressed. | The sensor did not sense position. | Unlock the door with the key and re-program the unit. If the problem persists, call customer service. |
While door is locked, latch bolt comes out when programming button is pressed to lock the door; however, three short beeps are emitted. Conversely, while door is open, no beeps are emitted when locking latch bolt. | (1) The depth of the latch bolt hole is insufficient. (2) The latch bolt is not aimed at the opening of the strike. | (1) Dig the latch bolt hole for the strike deeper. The minimum depth is 1" (2.5 cm). (2) Adjust the strike to the appropriate position. |
