SAR
This device complies with radio frequency exposure guidelines when used in the normal position against the ear or when placed at least 1.5 centimeters from the body. Specific SAR values are available in the Certification Information (SAR) section of this user manual. For more information, consult the Certification Information (SAR) section of this user guide or go to www.sar-tick.com.
This device complies with radio frequency exposure regulations when used against the head or when placed at least 1.5 cm from the body. When a case, belt clip, or any other form of device support is used for body-close operations, it must not contain metallic parts and the product must be positioned at least the distance from the body defined above.
Data or message transmission requires an optimal network connection. Transmission may be delayed until such a connection is available. Follow the distance instructions until the transmission is complete.
During normal use, SAR values are generally much lower than the values indicated above. This is because, for system efficiency and to minimize network interference, when the call does not require the full operating power of the device, it is automatically reduced. The lower the power of the device, the lower the SAR value.
Device models may have different versions and more than one value. Over time, components and design may undergo modifications, and some of these may affect SAR values.
For more information, visit www.sar-tick.com. Mobile devices may transmit even when you are not making a call.
The WHO (World Health Organization) states that current scientific information does not indicate the need for special precautions for the use of mobile devices. If you wish to reduce exposure, the advice is to limit the use of the mobile device or use a hands-free kit to keep the device away from the body and head. For more information, explanations, and discussions on radio frequency exposure, visit the WHO website at www.who.int/health-topics/electromagnetic-fields#tab=tab_1.
Refer to www.hmd.com/sar for the maximum SAR value of the device.

- To keep important data safe, archive it in at least two different locations, for example, the device, the memory card, or the computer, or write down valuable information.
During prolonged operation, the device may overheat. In most cases, this situation is normal. To avoid excessive overheating, the device may automatically slow down, close apps, disable charging, and, if necessary, turn off. If the device does not function properly, take it to the nearest authorized service center.
Recycling
Always dispose of used electronic products, used batteries, and packaging materials at dedicated collection points. By contributing to the separate collection of products, you help combat indiscriminate waste disposal and promote the reuse of renewable resources. Electrical and electronic products contain a certain amount of precious materials, including metals (such as copper, aluminum, steel, and magnesium) and precious metals (such as gold, silver, and palladium). All device materials can be recovered as materials and energy.
Contenitore mobile barrato
The presence of a crossed-out wheeled bin on the product, battery, documentation, or packaging indicates that all electrical and electronic products, as well as batteries, are subject to separate collection at the end of their life cycle. Remove personal data from the device first. Do not dispose of these products in unsorted municipal waste: take them to a recycling center. For information on your nearest recycling point, contact your local waste authority or inquire about the HMD collection program and its availability in your country at www.hmd.com/phones/support/topics/recycle.
Information about the battery and charger
Safety information regarding the battery and charger
To disconnect the cable of a charger or accessory, grip and pull the plug, not the cable.
Disconnect the charger when not in use. If not used, even a fully charged battery will discharge over time.
To optimize performance, always keep the battery at a temperature between 15°C and 25°C. Extreme temperatures reduce battery capacity and lifespan. A device with a very hot or very cold battery may temporarily not function. Accidental short-circuiting may occur when a metallic object touches the battery's metal contacts. The battery or the other object may be damaged.
Do not throw batteries into fire as they may explode. Observe local regulations. Recycle batteries whenever possible. Do not dispose of them in household waste.
Do not disassemble, cut, crush, bend, puncture, or otherwise damage the battery. If battery fluid leaks out, avoid contact of the fluid with the skin or eyes. If contact occurs, rinse the affected area immediately with plenty of water or consult a doctor. Do not modify, attempt to insert foreign objects into the battery, or immerse it or expose it to water or other liquids. Batteries may explode if damaged.
Do not use the battery and charger for purposes other than those prescribed. Improper use or the use of unapproved or incompatible batteries or chargers may pose a risk of fire, explosion, or other hazards and may void any warranty or approval. If you believe the battery or charger has been damaged, you should take it to the nearest service center or your retailer before continuing to use it. Never use a damaged battery or charger. Use the charger only in enclosed spaces. Do not charge the device during a thunderstorm.
Small children
The device and its accessories are not toys. They may contain small parts. Keep the device and its accessories out of the reach of children.
