Assembly Instructions
General Preparation
Ensure you have all parts listed. Clear a spacious area for assembly. Tools required: Screwdriver (not included), Level (recommended).
Step 1: Assemble the Main Frame
Attach the side panels to the base panel. Use 4x screws (114142) and the Allen key (100092) for each side. Ensure the panels are oriented correctly as shown in the diagrams.
Attach the second side panel to the base panel in the same manner.
Step 2: Attach the Top Panel
Place the top panel onto the assembled side panels. Secure it using 4x screws (114142) and the Allen key (100092).
Step 3: Install Decorative Front Panels
Insert the decorative front panels (mesh pattern) into the designated slots on the side panels. Secure them using 2x cam locks (194732) per panel, turning them to lock.
Step 4: Attach Back Panel Support
Position the back panel support bracket (10046332, 10101633, 10128309) along the back edge of the unit. Secure it using 4x screws (10044713, 10100447, 10128308). The diagram shows a 'Click!' action indicating secure attachment.
Step 5: Insert Shelves
Place the shelf supports (10042534) into the pre-drilled holes inside the unit at your desired height. Carefully slide the shelves onto the supports.
Step 6: Prepare for Wall Mounting
The unit MUST be secured to the wall to prevent tipping. Attach the wall bracket components (10042566, 10100681) to the top rear of the unit using 4x cam locks (10042534). Ensure they lock securely with a 'Click!' sound.
Note: Wall screws and plugs are not included and must be purchased separately, suitable for your wall type. Seek professional advice if unsure.
Step 7: Secure Unit to Wall
Position the assembled unit against the wall. Mark the wall through the holes in the wall brackets. Drill holes and insert appropriate wall plugs (not included). Secure the unit to the wall using suitable screws (not included).
Step 8: Stacking Units (Optional)
To stack multiple PLATSA units, first assemble the lower unit completely. Then, place the second unit on top. Align the units and secure them together using 4x stacking screws (108736) and 4x nuts (152059) through the designated holes at the top of the lower unit and the bottom of the upper unit.
Maximum stacking height: 300 cm (118 7/64 "). Do not exceed this height.
Final Check
Ensure all screws are tightened and the unit is stable and securely attached to the wall.
