Product Overview
The VIO X310 is a professional 3-way active speaker from dB Technologies. It features a coaxial neodymium transducer (4" MF, 2.5" HF, 1.4" exit) and two 10" neodymium woofers (2.5" voice coil). It offers a 90° (H) x 40° (V) coverage pattern with a rotatable horn for flexible installation. The integrated DigiPro G4 amplifier delivers 1400 W RMS power, controlled by a 32-bit DSP for detailed sound customization. RDNet connectivity allows for remote control and configuration via AURORA NET software.

I/O and Control Panel
The rear amplifier control panel features the following connections and controls:
- 1. USB Data Service: B-type USB port for firmware updating.
- 2. RDNet Data In / Data Out: RJ45 connectors for RDNet network connection, with associated control LEDs.
- 3. Balanced Audio Input/Output Link: XLR connectors for audio signal input and output linking.
- 4. DSP Preset Rotary Switch: Selects High Pass Filter (HPF) presets (e.g., 60Hz, 70Hz, 80Hz, 90Hz).
- 5. System Test Button: A button for system testing.
- 6. Status LEDs: Indicate Limiter, Signal, Mute/Protection, and Ready status.
- 7. Mains Input: POWERCON TRUE1 connector for full-range mains power input.
- 8. Mains Link Output: POWERCON TRUE1 connector for linking power to another speaker.
- 9. Mains Fuse: Housing for the mains fuse.
Status LED Indicators:
- Link LED: Illuminates when the RDNet network is active and the device is recognized.
- Active LED: Blinks when data transmission is present.
- Remote Preset Active LED: Indicates that local amplifier controls are bypassed and controlled remotely via RDNet.
Setup, Turn On, and I/O Settings
Audio Connection: Connect the audio input using an XLR cable. To link the audio signal to another speaker, use XLR connectors and connect the Output Link of the first speaker to the balanced Input of the second speaker.
Power Connection: Plug the supplied POWERCON TRUE1 cable into the Mains Input (7) to turn on the system. To daisy-chain power to another speaker, connect the Mains Link output (8) of the first speaker to the Mains Input (7) of the second speaker. Refer to the user manual for maximum connectable modules.
Remote Control (RDNet): Connect the Data Input (2) to a hardware remote controller (e.g., RDNet Control 2 or 8) using etherCON cables. Connect the Data Output of the first speaker to the Data Input of the second speaker for daisy-chaining. The Link LED indicates network activity.
Power Supply Specifications (Power Absorption)
- At 1/8 of full power (average use): 0.8 A (220-240V~) / 1.5 A (100-120V~)
- At 1/3 of full power (maximum use): 1.8 A (220-240V~) / 3.7 A (100-120V~)

INSTALLER NOTES: These values are for sizing purposes. Average use assumes infrequent clipping, while maximum use assumes frequent clipping or limiter activation.
Handles and Mechanical Fixing Points
Handles: Two handles are located on the rear of the loudspeaker for easy handling (A).
Mechanical Fixing Points: The loudspeaker features mechanical fixing points on each side (B) for stand mounting or flyable installations.

The VIO X310 can be configured in various ways:
