Front Panel Controls
The front panel features:
- 1 STANDBY: Power on/off button.
- 2 USB-MP3 SLOT FOR PLAYBACK: For connecting USB drives.
- 3 SD-MP3 SLOT FOR PLAYBACK: For connecting SD cards.
- 4 DOT MATRIX DISPLAY: Shows information about the current playback mode and track.
- 5 INPUT SOURCE SELECTION: Buttons to select input sources like PHONO, AUX1, AUX2, AUX3, SACD, MICROPHONE, USB/SD, BLUETOOTH.
- 6 KNOB FUNCTION MODE SELECTION: Press multiple times to cycle through VOLUME, BASS, TREBLE, and BALANCE adjustments.
- 7 MULTIFUNCTION KNOB: Adjusts the selected function (Volume, Bass, Treble, Balance).
- 8 HEADPHONES OUTPUT: For connecting headphones.
- 9 MICROPHONE INPUT: For connecting a microphone.
- 10 SPEAKER OUTPUT (A): Terminal for connecting speaker A.
- 11 PLAY/PAUSE (II): Controls playback.

Connecting Speakers
To connect speakers:
- Unscrew the terminal output protectors.
- Loosen or remove protective pieces to reveal the speaker output terminals.
- Prepare speaker wires by twisting exposed wires. Ensure at least 15mm/8" clearance for a secure connection.
- Insert speaker wires into the terminals, matching colors for polarity.
- Screw back the terminal protectors to ensure a firm connection.
- Enjoy your music!
Alternate Connection: Banana plugs can also be used for a simpler connection.
Bluetooth Mode
- Select Bluetooth mode using the remote or the front panel SOURCE button.
- Search for "AIWA AMU-120BT" in your device's Bluetooth list.
- Ensure your device is within 10 meters of the amplifier for optimal connection.
- Once connected, the amplifier display will show your device's name.
USB/SD-Card Mode
- Connect your USB drive or SD card to the respective slots on the front panel. The unit supports FAT 16/FAT 32 formats up to 128 GB.
- Select USB or SD mode using the remote or the front panel SOURCE button.
- Control playback using the play/pause, stop, next, and previous buttons on the remote or front panel.
Rear Panel Connections
The rear panel includes:
- POWER ON/OFF
- SPEAKER TERMINALS A / B: Connect speakers (4-8 Ohms impedance).
- PHONO GROUND TERMINAL
- POWER CORD
- SERVICE PORT: For firmware updates.
- RECORDING LINE OUT: For outputting audio signals to recording equipment.
- CD/SACD PLAYER INPUT: For connecting CD or SACD players.
- AUX AUDIO INPUT TERMINALS: For connecting auxiliary audio sources (AUX-1, AUX-2, AUX-3).
- PHONO (MM) INPUT: For connecting a turntable with an MM cartridge.
