Step 1: Assembling the Main Rack Structure
1. Take two clamps (part D) and attach them to the ends of a rod (part 2).

?3. Attach two clamps (part F) to the ends of another rod (part 2).

?Step 2: Assembling the DD520 Snare/Hi-Hat Mount
1. For DD520 models only: Attach a clamp (part D) to rod part 2.

?3. Attach a ring (part 1) to the clamp on rod part 2.

?Step 3: Assembling the Tom Mounts
1. Attach a ring (part 1) to rod part 3.

?Step 4: Attaching Cymbal Holders and Drum Mounts

2. Insert a cymbal mount/holder (part G) into the top of a drum rack stand (part 6).

?5. Attach two cymbal mount/holders (part G) to the top of the drum rack stands (part 6), and attach clamp/connectors (part B) to the side mounts.
⬇️Step 5: Attaching Drum Rack Stands
1. For DD520 models only: Attach clamp/connectors (part B) to the side mounts of the rack structure.

?Step 6: Attaching Pedals and Kick Drum
DD500 & DD500BL ONLY: Attach two foot pedals (part E) to the rack structure.
DD520 ONLY: Attach the kick drum pedal (part A) and one foot pedal (part E) to the rack structure.
Step 7: Connecting the Sound Module
1. Mount the sound module (part C) onto its bracket.
2. Connect the cable set (part H) to the back of the sound module (part C).
3. The sound module (part C) is now mounted and connected.
?Step 8: Final Component Placement and Identification
The electronic drum kit is now assembled. The following components are typically placed as shown:
- Sound Module: The central control unit.
- Hi-Hat: Positioned to the left.
- Snare Drum: Located in front of the player.
- Tom 1, Tom 2, Tom 3: Mounted above the snare and to the right.
- Kick Drum: Placed on the floor in front of the player, connected via a pedal.
- Hi-Hat Pedal: Controls the hi-hat.
- Crash 1, Crash 2: Cymbals mounted on stands.
- Ride: A cymbal mounted on a stand.
