Safety Instructions

  • Do not pour boiling water into the whipper.
  • Do not use more than 1 charger per 1/2 litre of cream.
  • Do not put the whipper in a freezer. Store in a refrigerator if necessary.
  • Do not use the whipper if damaged.
  • Keep the cream whipper out of sun and away from heat.
  • Only open the top of the whipper when the charge is completely spent.

Operation

Charging the Bottle

The cream whipper consists of the following parts:

  • Main body (bottle)
  • Top lid assembly with lever and valve mechanism
  • Charger holder
  • Cream charger (N2O, not supplied)
  • Dispensing nozzles (e.g., tulip, star, crescent, straight)
  • Charger cap
  • Rubber washer

To charge the bottle:

  1. Unscrew the top of the whipper and fill the bottle with well-chilled fresh cream. Note: Do not fill with more than half a litre of cream.
  2. Ensure the rubber washer is in place and replace the top of the whipper.
  3. Screw the desired nozzle onto the threaded valve cap (labeled 1 in diagrams).
  4. Remove the charger cap and insert the Nitrous Oxide (N2O) cream charger (not supplied) into the charger holder (labeled 2). Note: Use only non-threaded chargers.
  5. Screw the charger holder with the charger onto the metal thread until the charge releases into the bottle (indicated by 3).
  6. Shake the cream whipper 3-5 times in a vertical direction. Note: Heavier creams may require more shaking; ensure cream is well chilled.
  7. Unscrew and remove the charger holder with the spent charger.
  8. Replace the charger cap.

Dispensing the Cream

  1. Turn the cream whipper upside down.
  2. Hold the nozzle approximately 0.5-1cm above the surface and gently depress the lever (labeled 4). Note: If cream does not flow smoothly, shake the bottle and try again.

Clearing a Blockage

If the valve becomes clogged:

  1. Place the whipper on a countertop and wait for contents to settle.
  2. Cover the spout with a thick cloth and depress the lever several times until all gas is discharged.
  3. Unscrew the top.
  4. Unscrew the nozzle and valve cap, then remove the valve (labeled 5). Rinse the valve in warm water to clear the blockage.

Cleaning, Care & Maintenance

  • Always fully discharge the bottle before cleaning by depressing the handle.
  • The appliance and its attachments are NOT dishwasher safe. The valve can be removed for cleaning.
  • Never store with cream in the nozzle. After use, remove the top and clean in warm, soapy water.
  • Dry thoroughly after cleaning.
