Vogue L793 Chef's Blow Torch Instructions
THE MICRO TORCH DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY BUTANE GAS WHEN FIRST PURCHASED
1. Gas Refilling
- Prior to filling with butane, make sure the gas refill valve is tight.
- Use only high quality butane gas.
- Shake gas container a few times to warm fuel up.
- Insert the container nozzle vertically down into the gas refill valve. (See Figure 1)
- Use a pumping action when refilling. If any liquid gas sprays out, the torch is full. DO NOT over-fill to avoid blockage.
- After fuelling, allow a few minutes for gas to stabilize.

2. Lighting
- Turn the adjustment knob counter-clockwise for about 2/3 of a circle.
- The gas will blow out with a "hiss" from the burner nozzle. (See Figure 2)
- Press the "ignition button". The flame will ignite instantly. (See Figure 3)

Troubleshooting Ignition: If the adjustment knob is in the ignition position and gas is escaping from the burner nozzle, but the flame does not light when pressing the ignition button, adjust the position of the air control sleeve by aligning the small hole on the sleeve with the hole on the connecting tube.
3. Temperature Adjustment
- Adjust the flame of the torch to approximately 10-25mm (1/2 to 1") in length when in use. Do not set the flame too long, as it will waste gas.
- Turn the "air control sleeve" either to the right to reduce the temperature or keep it in the left for maintaining the temperature.
4. Turning Off
- Turn the adjustment knob fully clockwise to extinguish the flame. (See Figure 4)
