Important Information: Read Before Your First Ride
Even with years of cycling experience, it's crucial to read the user manual and the E-bike Specific Manual. These documents contain vital information about your new e-bike's electrical components, their functions, and necessary maintenance. Your safety and the safety of others are paramount.
- Never ride without the battery; it powers the lights.
- Never ride without a saddle; this can lead to serious injury.
- Inspect your bike for loose components or damage. Visit an authorized Devinci dealer for repairs.
- E-bikes are faster than traditional bikes, increasing accident risks with other road users.
- Adhere to conditions mentioned in the Owner's Manual.
- For e-bikes with a rear rack, the weight limit is 20 kg.
Electrical System Care:
- Do not wash your bike with a high-pressure washer; the system is sensitive to moisture.
- Handle the battery with care to avoid electric shocks, overheating, or severe damage. In rare cases, electric shock can lead to fire. Consult your authorized Devinci dealer if unsure.
- Perform battery maintenance as per the technical manual.
Battery Charging and Storage:
Note: Failure to follow these instructions may damage the battery and require replacement.
- Use only the Bosch charger.
- Avoid keeping the battery connected to the charger for extended periods.
- A long-term flat battery may lose efficiency.
- Store the battery in a dry, ventilated area, away from moisture.
- Monitor storage temperature and avoid drastic temperature changes (e.g., do not leave the battery in a car during summer or outdoors in extreme cold).
Factors Reducing Battery Life:
- Intensive use
- Charging in cold weather
- Storage above 30°C
- Prolonged storage fully charged or fully discharged
- Parking the e-bike in direct sunlight
- Regular complete battery discharge
Factors Prolonging Battery Life:
- Light charging
- Storage between 10°C and 20°C
- Storage at 30-60% charge
- Parking the e-bike in shade or a cool place
For more information, visit the Bosch website.
Transporting Your E-bike:
- Comply with local transportation laws for your e-bike.
- E-bikes are heavier; be cautious during transport. Check your bike rack's maximum load capacity.
- The Li-Ion battery is classified as a Class 9 dangerous good. Regulations may restrict the transport of separate Li-Ion batteries. Regulations are less strict for complete e-bikes (battery installed). Always check regulations with the transport company before traveling.
Regular Maintenance:
Visit your authorized Devinci dealer for regular maintenance. They have the expertise and equipment for proper e-bike servicing. Contact them with any questions.

About Our Manuals
Our user manuals meet ISO 4210-10TS, EN 15194, and EN 14766 standards. Cycling, like any sport, involves risks of injury and accidents. You must be aware of these risks. The manufacturer, dealer, seller, or trail maintainers are not responsible for these risks. You are solely responsible; therefore, it is essential to read and understand this manual completely.
For maximum safety and enjoyment, familiarize yourself with your new bike, its handling, and capabilities. Proper maintenance is your responsibility to reduce injury risks. Cycling can be dangerous even in the best conditions. These risks are inherent to cycling and are the rider's sole responsibility.
Your Authorized Devinci Dealer
Your authorized Devinci dealer can help you choose the right bike for your cycling style and maintain your equipment. They have the training, experience, and tools for repairs and advice. However, your dealer cannot make decisions for you or be held responsible for your lack of knowledge, experience, or common sense. They will gladly explain component functions or help you choose accessories.
For more information, refer to the user manual at www.devinci.com and Bosch manuals at https://www.bosch-ebike.com/fr/help-center/, or ask your authorized Devinci dealer.
