Charging DELTA 2
AC Mains Charging
EcoFlow's X-Stream fast charging technology is designed for AC charging. Charging speed can be adjusted via the EcoFlow app. In unusual situations where AC input current exceeds 20A, the X-Stream charging input port will activate its self-protection function, and the overload protection switch on the product will pop out automatically. After confirming there is no product malfunction, you can press the overload protection switch to resume charging.
Charging takes approximately 1.2 hours for a full charge.
Solar Charging
You can also connect solar panels as shown in the diagram to charge the product.
- The solar charging cable (MC4-XT60 adapter cable) and solar panel are sold separately.
- When using an EcoFlow solar panel to charge the product, follow the instructions included with the solar panel.
- Before connecting the solar panel, ensure its output voltage does not exceed 60V to avoid product damage.
Car Charging
To avoid starting difficulties due to insufficient battery power, use the car charger only after the vehicle has started. Ensure the car's cigarette lighter socket and the car charger input cable are in good condition. EcoFlow is not responsible for any losses or damages caused by non-compliance with instructions.
Smart Extra Battery
You can connect up to 1 Smart Extra Battery to one DELTA 2 for additional capacity. Refer to the user manuals of DELTA 2 and the Smart Extra Battery and Smart Generator for detailed instructions.
- Turn off both the Smart Extra Battery and DELTA 2 before connecting or disconnecting them.
- Before use, ensure both DELTA 2 and the Smart Extra Battery display the extra battery icon on their screens.
- Do not connect or disconnect the Smart Extra Battery directly during charging and discharging processes. If you need to connect or remove the battery during operation, turn off the product first.
- Do not touch the metal terminals of the Smart Extra Battery's smart connector. If the metal terminals require cleaning, gently wipe them with a dry cloth.
Smart Generator
DELTA 2 can also be recharged using the Smart Generator. Refer to the Smart Generator user manual for more information.
X-Boost and Emergency Power Supply
X-Boost
To prevent failures due to overload, the X-Boost function automatically engages when the total output power exceeds the rated output power, allowing high-power devices to be powered at the rated output power.
- X-Boost is not available when the AC output is on while charging (bypass mode).
- X-Boost is enabled by default. It can be adjusted in the EcoFlow app.
- X-Boost is not compatible with all electrical devices; it is incompatible with devices with strict voltage requirements. Devices with voltage protection (e.g., precision instruments) are not supported. The X-Boost mode is more suitable for heating devices. Please conduct your own tests on your devices with X-Boost enabled.
Bypass Mode: When the product is connected to a power outlet for charging and simultaneously connected to other devices, it cannot supply power to the devices if the AC power button is on; instead, the devices are powered by the mains.
Emergency Power Supply (EPS)
The product supports Emergency Power Supply. When mains power is connected to the product's AC input port via the AC power cord, you can power electrical devices through the AC output port (AC power will come from the mains, not the power supply). In case of sudden power failure, the product can automatically switch to battery power within 30 ms.
As a basic UPS function, this feature does not support 0 ms switching. Do not connect the product to devices requiring 0 ms UPS, such as data servers and workstations. Test and confirm compatibility before use. It is recommended to charge only one device at a time and avoid using multiple devices simultaneously to prevent overload protection from tripping. EcoFlow is not responsible for any device failures or data loss due to non-compliance with instructions.
