Important Safety Instructions

Please read this manual carefully before using this player and keep it for later reference.

The CD Player

  1. If the player fails to work, please contact customer support at support@klimtechnologies.com. KLIM Speaker is supported by warranty.
  2. Do not use or store the device in moist environments. Keep away from liquid, steam, etc.
  3. Do not place any liquid or unintended objects other than CDs into the player.
  4. Do not expose the device to direct sunlight for long periods or near heaters. It is not intended for storage or use in high-temperature environments.
  5. Only professionals with extensive electronic knowledge and maintenance experience are allowed to disassemble the player for maintenance. Spare parts replacement must adhere strictly to circuit design parameters.
  6. Do not scratch or hit the player with sharp objects.
  7. The device contains light-emitting diodes. Do not look directly into the lens, as this may cause permanent eye damage.
  8. Children under 12 should be supervised by an adult when using this device.

Battery Safety

Do not disassemble the device or charge it with power adapters that do not meet its electrical parameters to avoid permanent damage. For your safety, handle the built-in high-capacity polymer lithium battery as follows:

  1. Do not remove the battery pack.
  2. Do not drop or expose the device to any physical impact.
  3. Do not short circuit or pierce the battery.
  4. Do not place the player under ambient temperatures above 131°F (55°C).
  5. Do not put the battery in a fire.
  6. If the battery is damaged, ask a professional to replace it with one of the same specifications, or contact customer support.

Hearing Safety Warnings

Adjust the volume to an appropriate level. Excessive volume may damage your hearing, potentially causing permanent damage. Increase volume slowly until a comfortable, clear sound is heard. Listening to audio devices, even at reasonable volumes, can cause hearing damage if done for extended periods. Use the device in moderation and allow adequate rest for your ears.

First Use

How to Insert a Disc

Press the OPEN button on the right to open the cover. Before first use, remove the protective cardboard to reveal the lens. Insert your index finger into the center hole of the disc and take the edge of the disc with your thumb. Keep the labeled side upward while inserting the disc into the CD player and press the disc gently to lock it in place. Close the disc cover completely, otherwise the player will not read the disc. To remove an inserted disc, gently pull it upwards from the side.

Note: The player is only compatible with CD, CDR, Mp3, HDCD formats.

Using a TF Card

After inserting a TF card into the corresponding slot, press and hold the MODE button to enter TF card playback mode.

NOTE: The TF card slot only supports cards up to 32GB of capacity.

Using Earphones

Only earphones with a 3.5 mm jack are compatible with this device. For the best sound quality, use the included KLIM Fusion or similar high fidelity headphones.

Player Operation

How to Turn On the Player

The power switch is located on the side. Slide it to the ON position for normal playback. If the last track on a CD is played or no CD is in the device, the player will enter standby mode after 20 seconds. Press the button again to restart the player.

How to Turn Off the Player

There are two ways to turn off the player:

  1. Move the power switch to the OFF position if the player will not be used for an extended period.
  2. The player enters standby mode by pressing the button twice in succession. In standby, the player consumes some power as it is not completely switched off. Press the button to reactivate the player.

Charging the Player

This product includes a charging cable. You can use any charger supporting the USB 2.0 protocol or a standard USB charger. Note: A flashing battery indicator appears on the display when the battery is low.

Charging Time: Approximately 3-4 hours for a full charge (varies by power output). The LED indicator is red while charging and turns green when fully charged.

Playback Options

Pressing the MODE button cycles through playback modes: Repeat current track (REP1), DIR (Folder read), Repeat all (ALL), Shuffle (SHUF), Preview play (INTRO - first 10 seconds of a track).

Playback Modes Displayed: REP1, DIR, ALL, SHUF, INTRO.

Saving Track Presets

  1. Press to stop playback.
  2. Press PROG to enter programming mode.
  3. Press and to select the track, then press PROG to save it.
  4. Repeat step 3 to assign up to 30 tracks.
  5. Press in programming mode to start playing your selection.

To exit programming mode, press the button. NOTE: Presets are not stored in memory and must be reprogrammed after exiting programming mode.

Last Memory Function

Press and hold the PROG button for 2 seconds to toggle the last memory function ON or OFF. The screen will display ON or OFF. This function is ON by default.

ON: The player returns to the last played track on the CD.

OFF: The player does not return to the last played track on the CD.

Speed Adjustment

Press SPEED- to slow playback speed by 5x, and SPEED+ to increase playback speed by 5x.

Equalization

Press the EQ button to change equalization. There are 5 presets: BBS, POP, JAZZ, ROCK, and CLASSIC.

A-B Function

During track playback, press the A-B button once to mark start point A, and again to mark end point B. The track will loop between these points. Press the button again to cancel. Note: Points A and B must be within the same track.

Connection to Other Speakers

Use the included 3.5 mm AUX cable to connect the CD player to external speakers, amplifiers, car audio systems, etc.

Other Features

Key Lock

Use the HOLD switch to lock all buttons (except volume control) to prevent accidental operation, e.g., while exercising or storing the device in a bag.

Volume Adjustment

The volume controller is on the side of the player. Slide left or right to decrease or increase volume. Select an adequate volume level to prevent harm. Listening to loud music for extended periods may cause permanent hearing damage.

Troubleshooting

Problem Reason Solution
The CD player does not turn on Power switch is not in the ON position. Toggle the power switch to the ON position.
Buttons are locked. Ensure the HOLD switch is in the OFF position.
The CD player is out of battery. Charge the CD player.
The player is damaged. Contact customer support or a professional for repairs.
The CD cannot be read The CD is installed incorrectly. 1. Ensure protective cardboard is removed from the lens. 2. Ensure the label side of the CD faces upwards. 3. Ensure the CD is inserted correctly and fully.
The CD cannot be recognized. Check format compatibility (CD, CD-R, MP3, HDCD only).
The CD is dirty or damaged. 1. Ensure the CD is not heavily scratched or damaged. 2. Gently wipe the CD from the center outwards with a clean, soft cloth. 3. Try another CD to check for disc issues.
The lens is dirty. Gently wipe the lens with a cotton swab. NOTE: DO NOT TOUCH THE LENS WITH YOUR HANDS.
No current in the outlet. Ensure the power outlet is working.
The CD player isn't charging The charger is damaged. Replace the charger with one matching specifications (DC 5V/1A).
The player is damaged. Contact customer support or a professional for repairs.
The CD is scratched. Use a dry cloth to clean the CD, or try another CD.
Tracks skip while playing The player is subject to vibration or bumps (e.g., in a car). Keep the CD player stable while playing a CD.
