Project Overview

This document details how TP-Link's Omada Wi-Fi 7 solution enhanced connectivity for Algernon Impex SRL, a company specializing in B2B distribution for the advertising production industry in Romania. The project focused on providing stable and high-performance wireless networking across a 20,000 sq ft modern warehouse and two office buildings, supporting over 110 devices.

Challenges Faced

Algernon Impex SRL encountered several challenges, including achieving uniform network signal coverage in a large building structure, ensuring a stable and continuous connection for their WMS system, mitigating the risk of sensitive data disclosure, and preventing network drops for users moving between buildings.

Omada Solution and Benefits

Leveraging TP-Link's Omada networking solution, Algernon Impex SRL upgraded from Wi-Fi 5 to Wi-Fi 7. The deployment included eight EAP773 Wi-Fi 7 access points, one EAP660 HD, three SG2210MP switches, and one OC200 controller. This solution provided seamless roaming, robust security features with WPA3 encryption and VLAN segmentation, and centralized management via Omada SDN. The result was significantly improved network performance, enhanced security for sensitive data, and a superior user experience with reduced network congestion.
