How to locate Serial Number on Spektrum Transmitters, Receivers and Devices
To locate serial number on DX Models
-includes DX6 G2 and G3, DX7 G2, DX7s, DX8 G1 & G2, DX9, DX18 (all models), DX9, DX9 Black, DX10T, DX5R, DX5 Pro, DX6e and DX8e-
- Press and hold menu roller while turning on transmitter to enter System Setup
- Rotate roller to descend the list, highlight and press roller to select System Settings
- Rotate the roller to highlight NEXT at the bottom right corner. Select NEXT 2 times to bring up the Serial Number screen. Use this serial number to register your Spektrum Transmitter.
PRO TIP – Use the EXPORT function to save your serial number onto an inserted SD card for easy transfer to the Spektrum Registration Page
Please note - Only insert/remove the SD card when the transmitter is powered off.

To locate serial number on Receiver devices, DXe, DXs, DX5C and DX5 Rugged
-includes all updatable AR (air) and SR (surface) receivers, Serial receivers, and FC6250HX Flight Controller-
***Required Equipment***
- Windows based PC or Laptop with USB Port
- Spektrum USB Programmer (SPMA3065) (SPMA3068 Adapter needed for DXs transmitter)
- Download the Spektrum PC programmer Application and Install – Link here
- Plug in Spektrum USB programmer cable into open USB Port
- Open Spektrum PC Programmer Application on your PC
- In the Top left corner of the App there is a Login button, use this to login to your Spektrum Account or to create a new account
- Plug the servo lead end of the USB programmer into the Bind/Prog/Batt port on your device (refer to product manual for help finding this port if needed)
- If registering a receiver, click Power Cable check box in the top right corner and click Connect button
- If registering a transmitter, power on Transmitter now
- At this time, you should be presented with the Software Update Screen Menu
- Here you are presented with the Serial Number and you can register the device to your account by click Check for Update
