Multiple Protection Functions

1. Anti-freeze protection function

The compressor and water spraying motor turn off when compressors run for over 10 minutes and tube temperature (Tp) is continuously ≤35.6°F (2℃) for 20 seconds under cooling mode. "E4" will show on the LED display. The unit initiates anti-frost protection, and all control panel buttons (except power) become inactive. Once the tube temperature reaches ≥46.4°F (8℃), protection is relieved, and the compressor may restart after a 3-minute delay.

2. Water-full safety alarm and shut-off protection function:

Warning sounds when the water tank reaches its alarm level. The unit stops working, and the water-full indicator and "FL" flash on the LED window. You need to drain the condensate for the unit to resume operation. Refer to "Drainage Instruction" for details.

3. Delay protection function of compressor

This unit offers restart protection for the compressor. Except when the unit is first energized, there is a 3-minute start delay after the compressor shuts down.

Handling and Transportation

1. Handle and move the unit

Hold handles on the side panels to move the unit in an upright position.

Note: Always keep the unit upright when handling or moving. Drain the water in the unit completely before handling or moving to prevent water leakage and wet floors or carpets.

Installation & Adjustment

1. Installation

Warning: Keep this mobile air-conditioner in an upright position for at least 2 hours before first installation.

This air-conditioner can be moved indoors conveniently; keep the unit upright while moving it. The air-conditioner shall be placed on a flat surface. Do not install or operate this air-conditioner in a bathroom or other wet environments.

1.1 Installation of exhaust hose assembly and its adapter

  1. Take out the exhaust hose assembly and its adapter from the plastic bag.
  2. Extend the exhaust hose at one end and screw the round end of the adapter into the exhaust hose anticlockwise. Ensure a secure connection by screwing the adapter at least 3 laps.

1.2 Installation of the exhaust hose assembly into unit

  1. Determine the window seal-plate position: vertical or horizontal.
  2. If the window seal-plate is horizontal, slant panel A of the adapter should be upwards.
  3. If the window seal-plate is vertical and on the left side of the window, slant panel A of the adapter should face right.
  4. If the window seal-plate is vertical and on the right side of the window, slant panel A of the adapter should face left.

Connect the exhaust hose assembly to the unit's exhaust outlet on the back panel. Ensure the right direction of slant side A of the adapter for ease of window seal-plate installation. Hold the unit with one hand and the exhaust hose assembly with the other, and push them together gently for a good lock.

Keep the exhaust hose assembly strongly locked by fasteners in the exhaust outlet to avoid its fall off.

1.3 Installation of window seal-plate

  1. Open the window in half and insert the seal-plate, determining its vertical or horizontal position according to the window opening direction.
  2. Extend seal plate parts, adjust them to the window length, and fix them with screws.

1.4 Installation of the unit

  1. Move the unit with its exhaust hose assembly in front of the window, keeping the unit at least 50cm away from walls or other objects.
  2. Install the rectangle end of the exhaust hose adapter into the corresponding rectangle hole in the window seal-plate assembly. Align the 4 openings on the window seal-plate with the 4 openings on the exhaust hose adapter, set them together, then slide the adapter downwards to lock the two parts.
  3. Lock with a self-tapping screw (φ4 mm) into the adapter hole.

Ensure the adapter is installed in good position and the screw is tightened to avoid fall off.

The exhaust hose must not be bent or flexed higher than 45 degrees to maintain good ventilation.

Important notes: The exhaust hose is 280mm-1500mm long. Do not use prolonged hoses or replace them with different hoses, as this may affect the unit's functions. The exhaust hose must be smooth to prevent air-conditioner overheat and tripping due to obstruction.

Drainage Instruction

1. Manual drain:

When the water-full indicator and "FL" flash, the unit stops working. Place a tray below the water outlet at the back of the unit.

  1. Unscrew the drain cover and remove the water stopper for water to flow into the tray.
  2. After draining, plug in the stopper and screw the water cover tightly onto the water outlet.

Notes:

  • Protect the drain cover and water protector properly.
  • Move the unit carefully to avoid leakage if necessary.
  • Tilt the unit slightly backwards when draining.
  • Block the drain hole as soon as possible before the tray is full if it cannot hold all the water to prevent leakage and wet floors or carpets.
  • The water stopper and drain cover must be tightly installed to avoid new condensate wetting the floor or carpet when the unit restarts.

2. Continuous drain:

  1. Unscrew the drain cover and unplug the water stopper.
  2. Connect the drain hole with a 13mm PVC drain hose, inserting it as deep as possible to avoid leakage.
  3. Pull the drain hose to a bathroom or outdoor drain.

Notes:

  • The drain hose must be installed before the unit starts working.
  • It is suggested to use manual drainage when the unit is in cooling mode to ensure enough water recycles to cool the condenser and enhance cooling performance.
  • Place the drain hose in an inaccessible location, not higher than the drain hole, and keep it straight without any flexure.
  • Keep the drain cover and its stopper properly installed when continuous drainage is adopted.
