Quick Start Guide
Getting Started
Attach Handle.
Description: The main handle is shown being inserted into the top of the cleaner unit, with a 'CLICK' indicator signifying it is secured.
Fill Clean Water Tank with Water up to MAX line located on side of the tank.
Description: The clean water tank is depicted being filled with water up to the marked 'MAX' line.
Fill Solution Bottle with HOOVER Solution and slide into back of the unit.
Description: The solution bottle is shown being filled with Hoover cleaning solution and then inserted into a designated slot at the rear of the cleaner unit.
How to Use: Main Unit
Use pedals to operate.
Description: The main unit has pedals for operation. One pedal is labeled 'On/Off' for powering the unit, and another is labeled 'Recline' to adjust the handle angle.
Slowly Push forward and squeeze trigger to wash. Release Trigger and slowly pull unit back to Dry carpet. Repeat and move to new section.
Description: To clean, push the unit forward while squeezing the trigger to dispense solution and wash. To dry, release the trigger and pull the unit backward over the wet carpet. This process should be repeated across sections of the carpet.
How to Use: Above Floor
Hose Attachment.
Description: The cleaning hose is shown being connected to the main unit.
Tool Attachment.
Description: A specific cleaning tool is shown being attached to the end of the hose.
Spray / Scrub.
Description: The attached tool is used to spray cleaning solution and scrub surfaces above the floor, such as upholstery or stairs.
How to Use: Cleaning and Maintaining
Remove Dirty Water Tank.
Description: The tank that collects dirty water is shown being detached from the main unit.
Pull to Remove Nozzle Cover.
Description: The cover of the cleaning nozzle is depicted being pulled off for cleaning.
To Remove Brushes, press both tabs on side of foot. To Reinsert Brushes push them back in place until you hear a click.
Description: The brushes are removed by pressing two tabs located on the side of the cleaning foot. To reinsert them, push them back into place until an audible 'click' is heard.
Reinsert Brushes and Press Firmly until Latches Lock.
Description: After cleaning, the brushes are reinserted and pressed firmly until their securing latches engage with a click.
How to Use: Quick Clean Mode
Description: The unit features different cleaning modes.
To Engage Quick Clean Mode, Turn Knob Counter-Clockwise until engaged. Return to Deep Clean Mode by Turning knob Clockwise to Starting Position.
Description: A control knob on the unit allows selection between 'Quick Clean Mode' and 'Deep Clean Mode'. Turning the knob counter-clockwise engages Quick Clean Mode. Turning it clockwise returns the unit to Deep Clean Mode.
