- Note: After changing the battery or using the compass for the first time, it will automatically enter this adjustment mode.
Digital Adjust Mode (DEC):
- If your compass shows a correct north but still deviates significantly, use the DEC mode for correction.
Note: You do not need to print the following two items (Universal Explain).
Universal Explanation
- The curve displayed in Atmospheric Pressure mode is not the actual altitude. It detects altitude every 15 minutes. If the altitude change is not more than 8 meters, it is attributed to sea level change, not actual altitude. In this case, the pressure value is calculated based on the altitude from the previous 15 minutes. If the change exceeds 8 meters, it assumes you are climbing, and the pressure reading remains constant.
- Measurement Frequency: For the first 5 minutes after entering Altitude or Pressure measurement mode, or after exiting setting mode, measurements are taken every 2 seconds. After 5 minutes, measurements are taken every 2 minutes. In other modes, measurements are taken every 15 minutes.
- Magnetic Declination: If '+' is set, the displayed value is the actual declination plus the adjusted value. If '-' is set, it is the actual declination minus the adjusted value.
- Weather Estimation: The watch estimates the weather hourly by analyzing air pressure changes over the previous 4 hours. A gradual increase in air pressure suggests improving weather, while a gradual decrease indicates deteriorating weather. The four weather status categories (from good to bad) are: Sunshine, Cloudy, Overcast sky, Rainy.
Method for Weather Estimation:
- Detect the pressure every 59 minutes and 59 seconds.
- Calculate the difference between the pressure from 1 hour ago and the current hour (using 4 values). If the absolute difference is more than 2.5 mbar, that value is considered invalid. The average of the valid values is used to judge the weather.
Weather Conditions and Pressure Changes:
- Sunshine: 0.8~2.5 (mbar/h)
- Cloudy: 0.5~0.8 (mbar/h)
- No change: -0.5~0.5 (mbar/h)
- Overcast sky: -1.0~ -0.5 (mbar/h)
- Rainy: -2.5~ -1.0 (mbar/h)
Notes on Temperature Measurement: Temperature readings can be affected by personal body temperature, direct sunlight, and humidity. For more accurate measurements, remove the watch from your wrist and place it in a location not directly exposed to the sun, with good ventilation and a dry case. Allow approximately 20 to 30 minutes for the watchcase to reach the ambient temperature.
