8. The Second Time Setting

This mode allows you to set a second time zone.

Adjusting Values:

Exiting Setting Mode:

9. Altitude Measurement Mode

This mode measures and displays altitude data.

The watch will return to Timekeeping mode after 24 hours of inactivity. If the top row displays a curve, the first line will flash, indicating the current altitude.

Altitude Setting

This section details how to configure altitude-related settings.

10. Atmospheric Pressure Measurement Mode

This mode measures and displays atmospheric pressure data.

The watch will return to Timekeeping mode after 24 hours of inactivity.

Atmospheric Pressure Setting

This section details how to configure atmospheric pressure settings.

Note on Temperature Unit Adjustment: When adjusting temperature, using °C results in increments/decrements of 0.1. Using °F results in increments/decrements of 0.2.

11. Compass Mode

This mode functions as a digital compass.

The measuring mode will exit automatically after 1 minute of inactivity. You can initiate a new measurement by pressing Button D again.

Compass Adjustment

This section describes how to adjust and calibrate the compass.

Direction Acronyms:

Direction Meaning Direction Meaning Direction Meaning Direction Meaning
N North NNE North-north-east NE North-east ENE East-north-east
E East ESE East-south-east SE South-east SSE South-south-east
S South SSW South-south-west SW South-west WSW West-south-west
W West WNW West-north-west NW North-west NNW North-north-west

Note: If your compass has never been used before, please perform an adjustment.

Compass Adjust Mode:

Automatically Adjust Mode (CAL):

Digital Adjust Mode (DEC):

Note: You do not need to print the following two items (Universal Explain).

Universal Explanation

  1. The curve displayed in Atmospheric Pressure mode is not the actual altitude. It detects altitude every 15 minutes. If the altitude change is not more than 8 meters, it is attributed to sea level change, not actual altitude. In this case, the pressure value is calculated based on the altitude from the previous 15 minutes. If the change exceeds 8 meters, it assumes you are climbing, and the pressure reading remains constant.
  2. Measurement Frequency: For the first 5 minutes after entering Altitude or Pressure measurement mode, or after exiting setting mode, measurements are taken every 2 seconds. After 5 minutes, measurements are taken every 2 minutes. In other modes, measurements are taken every 15 minutes.
  3. Magnetic Declination: If '+' is set, the displayed value is the actual declination plus the adjusted value. If '-' is set, it is the actual declination minus the adjusted value.
  4. Weather Estimation: The watch estimates the weather hourly by analyzing air pressure changes over the previous 4 hours. A gradual increase in air pressure suggests improving weather, while a gradual decrease indicates deteriorating weather. The four weather status categories (from good to bad) are: Sunshine, Cloudy, Overcast sky, Rainy.

Method for Weather Estimation:

Weather Conditions and Pressure Changes:

Notes on Temperature Measurement: Temperature readings can be affected by personal body temperature, direct sunlight, and humidity. For more accurate measurements, remove the watch from your wrist and place it in a location not directly exposed to the sun, with good ventilation and a dry case. Allow approximately 20 to 30 minutes for the watchcase to reach the ambient temperature.
