Universal Explanation

  1. The curve displayed in Barometric Pressure Mode is not the actual one. It recognizes altitude every 15 minutes. If the altitude change is not more than 8 meters, the change in sea level is considered, not the actual altitude. In this case, the pressure value is calculated based on the previous 15-minute altitude. If the altitude is more than 8 meters, it is recognized that you are climbing, and the pressure remains the same.
  2. In the first 5 minutes after entering Altitude or Pressure measurement mode or exiting setting mode, measurement is taken every 2 seconds; after 5 minutes, measurement is taken every 2 minutes. In other modes, measurement is every 15 minutes.
  3. If magnetic declination is set to + when adjusting, the actual declination plus the adjusted value is displayed. If it is -, the actual declination minus the adjusted value is displayed.
  4. Estimate the weather every hour (estimate the weather based on the barometric pressure change in the last 4 hours). If the barometric pressure value gradually increases, it indicates that the weather is getting better. If the barometric pressure value gradually decreases, it indicates that the weather is getting worse. There are four types of weather status (from good to bad): Sunshine, cloudy, overcast sky, and rainy.

Method:

  1. Record the pressure every 59 minutes and 59 seconds.
  2. The pressure of the previous 1 hour minus the later 1 hour, a total of 4 values (if the absolute value is more than 2.5 mbar, it is useless), use only the valid value for their average. The weather is judged based on the average value.

Notes:

Temperature measurement is based on personal temperature (while wearing a watch), exposure to direct sunlight, and humidity. To measure the temperature more accurately, please take the watch off your wrist, place it in a location not directly exposed to the sun and with good ventilation, and dry the case. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes for the watch case to reach the actual ambient temperature.

C. Specification

(Use step counter for 1 hour per day, digital compass for 60 seconds, pressure test for 1 minute, altitude test for 1 hour, EL backlight 3 seconds four times each, and noise for 60 seconds.)

Sensor Power Consumption

  1. Detect weather once per hour.
  2. Detect direction once per minute.
  3. In the first 2 seconds, measurement is taken once when measuring atmospheric pressure or altitude; after 5 minutes, measurement is taken every 2 minutes; after 15 minutes, measurement is taken every 2 minutes; in other modes, measurement is taken every 15 minutes.
