Using the BlackVue App and Viewer
Playing Video Files and Changing Settings (App)
- Select 'Camera' on your Global Navigation Bar.
- Tap your dashcam model in the camera list.
- To play video files, press 'Playback' and tap the video you want to play.
- To change settings, press the settings icon ⚙️.

Using the BlackVue Web Viewer
To experience the camera features in the Web Viewer, you must create an account and connect your dashcam to the Cloud. It is recommended to download the BlackVue app and follow its instructions before accessing the Web Viewer.
- Go to www.blackvuecloud.com to access the BlackVue Web Viewer.
- Select 'Start Web Viewer'. Enter your login information or press 'Sign up' and follow the guidelines.
- To play video files, select your camera in the list and press 'Playback'. If your camera is not added, press 'Add camera' and follow the guidelines.
- Select the video you want to play from the video list.

Using the BlackVue Viewer (SD Card)
This section describes how to play video files and change settings using the BlackVue Viewer software on a computer via the microSD card.
- Remove the microSD card from the main unit.
- Insert the card into a microSD card reader and connect it to a computer.
- Download the BlackVue Viewer program from www.blackvue.com > Support > Downloads and install it.
- Run BlackVue Viewer. To play, select a video and click the play button ▶️ or double-click the selected video.
- To change settings, click the settings icon ⚙️ to open the settings panel. Settings include Wi-Fi SSID & password, image quality, sensitivity, voice recording, speed unit (km/h, MPH), LEDs, voice guidance volume, and Cloud settings.

Tips for Optimal Performance
microSD Card Formatting: For stable operation, format the microSD card monthly.
- Using BlackVue App (Android/iOS): Go to BlackVue App > ⚙️ > Format microSD card.
- Using BlackVue Viewer (Windows): Download and install the Windows Viewer. Insert the microSD card, connect the reader to your computer, launch the Viewer, click 'Format', select the card drive, and click OK.
- Using BlackVue Viewer (macOS): Download and install the Mac Viewer. Insert the microSD card, connect the reader, launch the Viewer, click 'Format', select the microSD card, go to the 'Erase' tab, select "MS-DOS (FAT)" from the Volume Format drop-down, and click 'Erase'.
microSD Cards: Only use official BlackVue microSD cards; other cards may cause compatibility issues.
Firmware Updates: Regularly upgrade firmware for performance improvements and new features. Updates are available at www.blackvue.com > Support > Downloads.

Main Unit
GPS Indicator:
Blue solid: GPS enabled.
Blue slow blinking: Bluetooth pairing.
Blue fast blinking: GPS and/or Bluetooth mode disabled.
Bluetooth/Wi-Fi/LTE Indicator:
Yellow solid: LTE connected.
White solid: Wi-Fi connected.
Yellow blinking: Bluetooth pairing established.
Recording Indicator:
Orange solid: Normal mode.
Red solid: Event recording (impact detected) or manual recording.
Green solid: Parking mode with motion detection.

SOS Button
SOS Button Indicator:
Green blinking: Initial battery setup.
Green blinking: Button press.
Green/Red blinking: Connected to the main unit.
Red blinking: Low battery.

Front Camera
Safety Indicator:
Solid: Normal operation, event recording, manual recording, or parking mode motion detection.
Slow blinking: Waiting for motion detection in parking mode.

Rear Camera
Safety Indicator:

Rear Infrared Camera
Safety Indicator:
Solid: Recording in all modes (can be disabled in firmware settings).

Rear Camera for Truck

Installation
Main Unit and SOS Button Installation
Install the main unit on the dashboard or in a dedicated compartment. In trucks, it can be mounted on a luggage rack.

Insert the key, turn it counter-clockwise to unlock the main unit, remove the lock cover, and insert the microSD card.

Route the cables through the cover opening and connect them to the appropriate ports. Replace and lock the main unit cover.

Install the SOS button within easy reach.
Replacing the Battery in the SOS Button
- Unscrew the rear panel of the SOS button.
- Remove and replace the battery with a CR2450 type.
- Reattach the rear panel and secure it with screws.

Front Camera Installation
Mount the front camera behind the rearview mirror. Clean and dry the windshield before installation.
Disconnect the bracket from the front camera housing using the hex key (turn counter-clockwise).

Connect the front camera (Rear port) to the main unit (Front port) using the rear camera connection cable.

Note: Ensure the front camera cable is connected to the 'Front' port on the main unit. Connecting it to the rear camera port will trigger a warning sound.
