If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. If you are uncertain, please contact IKEA.

Assembly Instructions

The following steps illustrate the assembly process for the ÅRSTID floor lamp.

  1. Step 1: Disassembly Preparation. A person is shown detaching a section of the lamp's pole. A close-up view illustrates unscrewing a connection point. The detached section is then placed into a trash receptacle.

  2. Step 2: Pole Assembly. The lamp's pole sections are joined together. A close-up shows the process of screwing one section into another.

  3. Step 3: Base Attachment. The assembled pole is connected to the lamp's base. A close-up indicates tightening a securing mechanism at the base of the pole.

  4. Step 4: Lamp Holder Installation. The electrical socket or lamp holder is attached to the top of the assembled pole.

  5. Step 5: Lampshade Attachment. The lampshade is placed onto the lamp holder, completing the assembly.
