SmallRig Travel Video Tripod Kit User Manual
Warnings
- Do not exceed the specified load capacity.
- Make sure to lock and keep safe when operating the tripod.
- Do not use a tripod when the temperature is lower than minus 20 degrees or higher than 65 degrees. Please clean the tripod when it is getting dirty or wet; do not use it in the sea.
- Do not expose the product under direct sunshine or high temperature for a long time.
- Make sure all devices (e.g., cameras) were taken down from the tripod before transportation.
- Keep the tripod and all accessories clean before packing for storage.
- Unless necessary, the equipment does not need to be lubricated regularly.
- Please use the standard lube only if needed.
- To ensure safety, do not connect the tripod with any power supply.
- Please do not disassemble the product. If you have any questions, please contact the seller to apply for after-sales service.
Tripod Details
The tripod consists of the following parts:

- Center Column Lock

Video Head Details
The video head includes:
- Quick release plate
- 1/4"-20 threaded hole
- Up & down locking knob
- Spirit level
- Balance base
- Base
- 1/4"-20 screw
- Handle telescopic locking knob
- Panoramic locking knob
- Balance base locking knob
- Platform locking knob
- Grip handle angle adjusting locking knob
Adjustments:
A. Platform locking knob: Loosen the knob, align the quick release plate in the correct position, then lock the knob.
B. Up & down locking knob: Loosen the knob to fix the platform at any up & down angle, then lock the knob.
C. Panoramic locking knob: Loosen the knob for 360° horizontal rotation of the ball head.
D. Wrench: Gently push the indicated part to take out the hidden wrench.
E. Balance base locking knob: Loosen the knob to freely adjust the balance base angle for 360° horizontal rotation.
F. Grip handle: Loosen the angle adjust locking knob to freely adjust the grip angle, then lock the knob.
G. Handle telescopic locking knob: Loosen the knob to allow the handle to be telescopic.
H. Quick release plate: Use the included wrench to freely adjust the camera screw tightness.
Adjust Leg Angles
For stable support on uneven surfaces or for low-angle shots, each leg can be adjusted to 3 preset angles: 23°, 55°, and 85°.
To set the leg angles:
- Press outward the leg angle lock.
- Set the leg angle to one of the three preset positions.
- Press inward the leg angle lock to secure the angle setting.
Spread Tripod Legs
- Start with the tripod legs folded.
- Pull open the flip locks and pull out the legs to the desired length.
- Lock the flip locks to secure the legs.
Convert to Monopod
To convert the tripod to a monopod, rotate and detach one of the legs with the sponge sleeve. The detached leg can be used as a monopod, with its top featuring a 3/8"-16 screw for attaching other devices.
Install Tripod Head
The tripod head can be installed using the 3/8"-16 screw interface.

After-sale Warranty Terms:
- Electronic products (except V mount battery): 1-year warranty.
- V mount battery: 2-year warranty.
- Non-electronic products: 2-year warranty.
Note: In case of conflict between the warranty period and applicable laws, the latter shall prevail.
This Warranty Does Not Cover:
- Quality failures resulting from failure to adhere to the "Operating Instruction" or "Warnings".
- Product identification or SN label removed or defaced.
- Product damage caused by improper use or factors not attributable to product quality.
- Damage caused by unauthorized modification, disassembly, or repair.
- Damage caused by force majeure events such as fire, flood, lightning, etc.
Warranty Mode:
SmallRig will repair or replace products within the warranty scope based on specific failures. Repaired or replaced products/parts are entitled to the remaining warranty period.
