X. Frequently Asked Questions
- How to download Norwii Presenter software and pair the presenter and USB receiver?
For products supporting key function customization or highlight serial products (digital laser, highlight, magnifier), download the Norwii Presenter software from the "Downloads" section under the "Support" menu on the official Norwii website (www.norwii.com). - How to know if the battery is out of power?
Turn on the presenter and press the [laser key] to check if the laser turns on. If it does not turn on, the battery is likely out of power or the laser diode needs replacement. If other buttons are pressed and the [LED indicator] does not light up, the battery is also low. Charge the presenter promptly. When the battery level is low, the [LED indicator] will enter a slow flashing state. - Why does the laser pointer not work?
If the laser does not light up, please check:- Is the power switch turned on? If not, turn it on.
- Check if the wireless presenter has low power. If the [LED indicator] flashes slowly, the battery needs charging.
- If other functions are normal but the laser is not on, the laser module may be broken and requires replacement.
- What to do if the laser becomes dim?
Laser dimming is usually due to low battery power. If the laser beam remains only a red dark spot after full charge, the laser module may be aging. Contact support for repair. - Why does the computer not detect the device when the USB receiver is plugged in?
Check if the USB port works. Use a USB mouse or keyboard to test the port. If other USB devices work on the port but the presenter's USB receiver does not, the receiver may be broken or incompatible with the USB drivers. Try another USB port on the same or a different computer. If it works on another computer, the issue might be with the original computer's USB drivers. Back up data and reinstall the OS if necessary. - Special tips for charging:
The product supports standard 5V charging only and does not support QC quick charging. Charging with a voltage higher than 5V may damage the product or prevent charging. - The laser is ok, and the USB receiver is detected by the computer, but why does the presenter not control the computer?
The USB receiver may not have saved the presenter's address properly. Use the Norwii Presenter software to save the presenter's address again. This process is also known as pairing the wireless presenter and the USB receiver. - How to adjust the settings for Norwii Presenter on macOS?
On macOS, the Norwii Presenter software requires three permissions: Accessibility, Input Monitoring, and Screen & System Audio Recording. If not set, click "Grant Permissions" in the "About" tab of the software. Then, open the corresponding permission settings in the window that appears. You can also verify these settings in "Launchpad - System settings - Privacy & Security - Accessibility, Input Monitoring, Screen & System Audio Recording".
