Heat Pump Information Explained
Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER)
This rating determines a heat pump's efficiency. The higher the SEER rating, the more energy-efficient it is.
Heating Seasonal Performance Factor (HSPF)
A heating efficiency rating for heat pumps. A higher-rated HSPF heat pump will result in less energy use and increased energy savings over the life of the system.
Dual-Fuel Compatibility
An HVAC system that pairs an electric heat pump with a gas furnace and alternates between the two fuel sources to maximize comfort and efficiency.
ENERGY STAR® Certified
HVAC equipment with the ENERGY STAR label meets or exceeds federal guidelines for energy-efficient performance.
Quantum™ Coil

How does single-stage, two-stage & variable-capacity work?
Single-Stage
