Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Attach Brackets to Table Top
Place the table top upside down. Attach the two hinge/bracket pieces (Part 113005) to the designated areas on the underside of the table top using eight small screws (Part 113006). Ensure they are securely fastened.
Step 2: Attach Legs
Connect the leg assembly to the underside of the table top. This involves attaching the legs to the previously installed brackets. Use the small screws (Part 113006) for this step.
Step 3: Attach Folding Support Bar
Secure the folding support bar (Part 133116) between the two legs using two medium screws (Part 117763). This bar provides stability when the table is open.
Step 4: Wall Mounting
CRITICAL STEP: This table must be securely mounted to a wall. The diagram illustrates the process of attaching the table to a wall bracket (wall bracket itself is not a numbered part in this manual). Use the large bolts/screws (Part 117192) and the Allen key (Part 100092) to fasten the table to the wall. You MUST use wall screws and plugs that are suitable for your specific wall type, as these are not provided with the product. If you are unsure about the correct fixings for your wall, please seek professional advice.
Step 5: Final Assembly Check
Once mounted, ensure all screws and bolts are fully tightened and the table is stable and securely attached to the wall. The table is now ready for use.
Step 6: Folding the Table
The ASKHOLMEN table is designed to fold upwards against the wall for compact storage when not in use. The diagram shows the simple mechanism for folding the table.
