Instruction Manual

Introduction

Congratulations! You have just purchased the player table aimed at the automotive sound market, a very compact table that combines high quality, practicality and versatility. The MX Player is essential for maximizing the acoustic performance of your audio system. The RCA input and output connections allow installation in any car sound system, in addition, it also has P10 and XLR type connections for connecting instruments or peripherals. The 12Vdc power supply eliminates the need for external inverters, considerably reducing the level of noise and consumption. It also has an anti-pop system, responsible for the smooth connection of equipment, thus increasing the useful life of your entire system.

1. Connections and Power

1.1. Power

The unit utilizes P4 connectors for power and remote connections. A 12Vdc (pin) GND (mesh) connection is located on the left side. The REM OUT (mesh) connector is on the right side and activates with the MX Player's On/Off mode.

1.2. Input Channels

MIC/LINE: Supports both 6.3mm mono jack (P10) and XLR connectors.

LINE/IN: Features RCA L/R Connectors.

Line 1: Offers higher input sensitivity, making it suitable for devices with low audio levels such as microphones or smartphones.

1.3. Output Channels

AUX L+R: This is an auxiliary output of the first Line with independent gain control. It is equipped with both P10 and RCA connectors.

MAIN OUT: Features RCA L/R Connectors for main audio output.

ATTENTION: The auxiliary output only receives the audio signal from the first Line.

2. Commands

2.1. Gains and Equalizers

The MX Player provides stereo equalization with 4 equalization bands per Line. Each EQ band allows for an increase or reduction of up to 18dB. The equalizer will have no effect when set to the central position. The Level regulator is used to adjust the signal level of the track that will be sent to the MAIN OUT. The unit employs Peak-type filters to ensure the EQ does not affect frequencies outside the speakers' response range. The equalization bands are: Low - 60Hz, Mid-L - 250Hz, Mid-H - 1.7kHz, and High - 11kHz.

2.2. Buttons

  • On/Off: Press and hold to turn the unit on or off.
  • Change audio source: Press to cycle through input sources.
  • [Up Arrow] [Down Arrow] Pass folder: Navigate through folders.
  • [Left Arrow] [Left Arrow] [Right Arrow] [Right Arrow] Pass music track: Skip to the previous or next track.
  • Click: Enter selection or confirm. Rotate: Adjust Volume/Search.
  • ↩️ Back: Return to the previous menu or setting.
  • ▶️ Play/Pause: Control audio playback.

2.3. Connections

USB: Place your USB device in the slot and change the signal source until "USB" appears on the display. Use the buttons to browse files.

BLUETOOTH: Pair with the "BLUEX" device (the name of the MX Player). Change the signal source in the menu until "BLUEX" appears on the display.

AUX: These connections (RCA, P10, and XLR) transmit the signal directly to the MAIN OUT, regardless of the selected signal source or the On/Off mode of the MX Player. The unit is compatible with a Long Distance Control, which can direct the emitter at the MX Player IR Receiver.

2.4. Mixing Console

The Console mixer allows you to monitor the level of the output signal. The VU METER displays signal levels, and the POWER indicator shows that the unit is energized.

3. Dimensions

The dimensions of the MX Player are:

  • Width: 155mm
  • Height: 240mm
  • Depth: 42mm

ATTENTION: The auxiliary output only receives the audio signal from the first Line. Equalizations for USB and Bluetooth audio sources are available on Line 2.
