Device Overview
The Lamtto RC04 is a car accessory designed to bring Apple Carplay and Android Auto functionality to your vehicle's infotainment system. It features a touchscreen display and connects to your smartphone wirelessly.

Connecting with Apple Carplay
Follow these steps to set up Carplay:
- Power on the Lamtto RC04 and select the Carplay option.
- On your iPhone, turn on Bluetooth. Search for and connect to the device named "CAR-KIT-****".
- Your iPhone will prompt for pairing confirmation and permission. Accept these prompts.
- After successful pairing, your iPhone will notify you to confirm using Carplay. Confirm this to begin using the Carplay interface.
To stop using Carplay: Simply turn on your phone's WiFi connection.
Carplay Connection Notes:
- For optimal performance, ensure your phone is not connected to other Bluetooth devices in the car.
- The device automatically connects to WiFi after Bluetooth pairing; manual connection is not required.
- The Bluetooth connection will automatically disconnect once Carplay is active.
- If the Carplay screen does not appear, verify iPhone settings: Navigate to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Allowed Apps > Carplay, and ensure it is enabled. If the issue persists, try disabling, restarting your phone, and then re-enabling the restriction before reconnecting.
Connecting with Android Auto
Follow these steps to set up Android Auto:
- Power on the Lamtto RC04 and select the Android Auto option. Ensure the "Android Auto" app is installed on your phone.
- On your Android phone, turn on Bluetooth. Search for and connect to the device named "CAR-KIT-****".
- Your phone will prompt for pairing confirmation and permission. Accept these prompts.
- After successful pairing, your phone will automatically connect and use Android Auto with the device.
To stop using Android Auto: Turn on your phone's WiFi connection.
Android Auto Connection Notes:
- Google Pixel phones require Android 8.0 or higher.
- Other Android phones require Android 11 or higher.

FM Transmitter Setup
Use the FM transmitter to broadcast audio through your car's radio:
- Activate the FM transmission function. The status indicator will change from a red dot [red-dot] (off) to a green dot [green-dot] (on).
- Use the left and right arrow buttons to select the desired FM frequency (default is 91.0MHz).
- Tune your car radio to match the selected FM frequency.
- Audio from Carplay or Android Auto will now play through your car's speakers.
- To deactivate the FM transmitter, press the button again.
AUX Audio Output
For a direct audio connection, connect an audio cable from the device's AUX audio output to your car's AUX input. This ensures audio from Carplay or Android Auto is played through your car's sound system.
