Operating Modes of The Camera
(When the camera is connected to the vehicle's OBD port)
1. Parking Monitoring Mode
When the vehicle engine is turned off, the camera enters Parking Monitoring Mode. Both the radar sensor and G-sensor remain active. The radar sensor triggers for approaching objects, and the G-sensor triggers for vibrations or impacts. The camera will save the event video, upload it to the cloud (subscription required), and send an alert via the app.
Radar detection mode options (set via the app):
- All motion detection
- Human-only detection
2. Driving Mode
When the vehicle is in motion, the camera switches to Driving Mode. Continuous video is recorded. Only the G-sensor is active. If a collision or strong vibration is detected, the video segment is automatically locked and protected from overwriting. Locked footage is also uploaded to the cloud if enabled.
Radar Detection Range
If metal objects block the radar area, detection performance may be reduced. Typical detection distances:
- Front of the vehicle: 3 to 5 meters (standard), up to 1 meter near the windshield.
- Rear of the vehicle: Up to 0.5 meters outside the rear window.
Tips for Best Performance: Ensure the radar sensor is not obstructed. Position the camera according to the installation guide for optimal range.
App Interface Overview
- Cloud Services: Offers a 30-day free trial. Subscription required for continued use. View recordings remotely under "Cloud Video." Videos are retained during the active subscription period.
- GPS Positioning System: Open the Monitoring screen, tap the GPS icon to view the vehicle's real-time location.
- Collision-Activated Recording: The G-sensor automatically locks footage upon detecting a collision.
