BILLY Bookcase Assembly Instructions

Assembly Steps

Step 1: Prepare Panels

Insert 16 cam lock screws (101351) into the side panels. Insert 12 dowels (118331) into the top and bottom panels.

Step 2: Assemble Base Frame

Connect the bottom panel to the two side panels using 12 screws (119081).

Step 3: Attach Back Supports

Attach the two back support pieces to the side panels using 4 screws (119081).

Step 4: Attach Central Divider

Attach the central vertical divider to the bottom panel using 4 screws (119081).

Step 5: Attach Top Panel

Connect the top panel to the side panels using 2 screws (119081).

Step 6: Insert Back Panel

Slide the thin back panel into the grooves on the back of the assembled frame.

Step 7: Secure Back Panel

Secure the back panel to the frame using 6 screws (119081).

Step 8: Insert Shelf Pins and Cam Locks

Insert 6 shelf support pins (151706) into the desired holes on the inside of the side panels. Insert 6 cam locks (151705) into the designated holes on the shelves.

Step 9: Place Shelves

Place the 5 shelves (153548) onto the shelf support pins.

Step 10: Secure Shelves

Turn the cam locks (151705) on the shelves to secure them in place.

Step 11: Attach Wall Brackets

Attach the two wall brackets (109041) to the top of the assembled bookcase using 2 screws (100823) for each bracket.

Step 12: Insert Final Cam Locks

Insert 16 cam locks (131372) into the designated holes on the side panels.

Step 13: Secure to Wall

Position the bookcase against the wall. Use the wall brackets and 4 screws (100823) to securely fasten the bookcase to the wall. Ensure you use screws and plugs appropriate for your wall type. If unsure, consult a professional. [Tip: Use a level for best results.]
