Notice: Do not load or change the hard disk while the device is powered on to avoid damage to the disk and data. Supported hard disk formats include EXT3, EXT4, NTFS, FAT32, and EXFAT.
Remote Control
1. Description of functions buttons
The remote control has dedicated buttons for various functions including Power, Learning Area, Numbers, Resolution, Delete, Pop Menu, Home, Return, Menu, Subtitle, Audio, Volume, Repeat, Mouse Light, and Function Keys.
2. Introduction to Learning button
The learning function allows the remote control to copy functions from other remote controls, enabling it to operate two devices. To enter learning mode, press and hold a key for 3 seconds until the indicator light is always on, then press the Learning KEY. Align the infrared emission windows of both remotes within 3cm and press the desired key on the other remote. The indicator light will stop blinking if learning is successful. Press the KEY to exit learning mode. The Light KEY turns the backlight on/off.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
To pair the remote control via Bluetooth, aim it at the machine within 30cm and press the Down Key and Menu Key simultaneously for at least 5 seconds until the indicator light blinks. Pairing is successful when the indicator light stops blinking.
Connection with Device
1. HDMI connects to the TV
The UHD3000 offers two HDMI connection modes:
- Stand-up Output Mode: While the TV and Media Player are off, connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT port and the other end to the TV's HDMI IN port.
- Double Output Mode: This mode separates video and audio. Connect one side of an HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT AUDIO ONLY interface and the other side to an amplifier. Then, use another HDMI cable to connect the HDMI OUT MAIN interface to the TV's HDMI IN interface. Ensure both the TV and Media Player are powered off before connecting.
2. DAC analog audio
1) DAC audio switch: Enable this switch to connect speakers via analog XLR balance or RCA ports. This switch decodes the XMOS output (DSD pass-through) to the DAC, supporting native DSD 512 and PCM 768 high-sampling. When the DAC Audio switch is on, there will be no sound from HDMI and SPDIF.
2) Filtering Features: Options include BRICK_WALL_FILTER, CORRECTED_MIN_PHASE_FAST, APODIZING_FAST, MIN_PHASE_SLOW, MIN_PHASE_FAST, LINEAR PHASE_SLOW, and LINEAR PHASE_FAST.
3) Analog Audio Volume: This setting controls the volume for the DAC decoder.
4) XLR Port polarity: Options include Normal and Reverse.
3. Connect AV cable with the TV
The connection method is similar to HDMI. Connect the AV cable before powering on the device.
HDMI & DAC analog audio
1. HDMI Output Setting
For double HDMI output, the main port connects to the TV or projector, and the deputy port connects to a power amplifier. Three modes are available:
- Master Port and Subport Separation Model: Video outputs from the main port, and audio outputs from the deputy port for separation.
- Master Port + Subport Model: The main port outputs audio and video, while the deputy port outputs audio.
- Master Port Mode: The main port outputs audio and video, with no audio output from the deputy port.
Tips: Video is played by the master port, and audio is played by the subport for great separation.
2. DAC analog audio
1) DAC audio switch: Turn on this switch to connect speakers via analog XLR balance or RCA ports. This decodes the XMOS output (DSD pass-through) to the DAC for highest native DSD 512 and PCM 768 high-sampling. When this switch is on, HDMI and SPDIF will not output sound.
2) Filtering Features: Select from various filter properties like BRICK_WALL_FILTER, CORRECTED_MIN_PHASE_FAST, APODIZING_FAST, MIN_PHASE_SLOW, MIN_PHASE_FAST, LINEAR PHASE_SLOW, and LINEAR PHASE_FAST.
3) Analog Audio Volume: This setting adjusts the volume for the DAC decoder.
4) XLR Port polarity: Choose between Normal and Reverse polarity for XLR connections.
Initialization
This section guides you through the initial setup process for an optimal watching experience.

2. Bluetooth Match-Up
Align the remote controller with the media player and press the Page-Down KEY and Menu KEY simultaneously for at least 5 seconds until the indicator light blinks. The light will turn off upon successful matching.
3. Screen scaling
Adjust the screen display range using the LEFT or RIGHT buttons on the remote control or the mouse wheel to ensure the image is displayed correctly on the TV screen.
