Installation Steps
Step 1: Preparation
Ensure you have all the necessary spare parts as indicated in the diagrams. Some parts may be included for other models.
Step 2: Mounting Brackets
Attach the mounting brackets to the cabinet and the appliance using the provided screws. Ensure correct orientation as per the diagrams.
Step 3: Cutting and Fitting
In some steps, it may be necessary to cut or adjust parts. For example, a metal strip may need to be cut to size (X < 10 mm).
Step 4: Securing Components
Use screws to secure various components. Note that for certain steps (e.g., Step 5, Step 7, Step 13_B, Step 15), screws should not be fully tightened initially to allow for adjustment. For other steps (e.g., Step 14, Step 16), screws should be fully tightened.
Step 5: Door Attachment
The appliance doors are attached using hinges. Follow the diagrams to correctly align and secure the doors. Ensure a 90-degree angle for proper attachment.
Step 6: Adjusting the Legs
If the refrigerator is unbalanced, adjust the legs by turning them. Turning in the direction of the black arrow lowers the corner, while turning in the opposite direction raises it. Assistance from another person to lift the refrigerator slightly can facilitate this process.
Step 7: Final Tightening and Checks
After initial placement and adjustments, fully tighten all screws as indicated in the relevant steps (e.g., Step 14, Step 16). Ensure all components are securely fastened.
Step 8: Specific Model Adjustments
Some installation steps may vary depending on the model. For example, steps marked with an asterisk (*) might be specific to certain models or regions (e.g., Italy models).
Step 9: Final Door Alignment
Final adjustments to the door alignment may be necessary. Follow the diagrams to ensure the doors close properly and are flush with the cabinet.
Step 10: Securing the Appliance
Use the provided brackets and screws to secure the appliance within the cabinet. Pay attention to the specified measurements (e.g., 42 mm, 21 mm) for correct positioning.
Step 11: Additional Model-Specific Steps
For certain models, additional steps like those marked with 21* might be required. These typically involve securing brackets or making final adjustments.
Step 12: Final Check
Review all installation steps to ensure everything is correctly installed and secured. Check for proper door operation and alignment.
Important Notes:
- When tightening screws for plastic parts, do not overtighten to allow for easy adjustment.
- Ensure adequate ventilation by leaving the back wall of the cabinet open.
- Refer to specific step instructions for screw tightening requirements (initial vs. final).
For any discrepancies or missing parts, please refer to the product manual or contact the manufacturer.
