This product is only suitable for vehicles with 12V negative grounded. Failure to do so may cause accidents such as fire.
Ask professionals for wiring and installation. Wiring and installation of this product require specialized skills and experience. For the sake of safety, please contact the dealer of the product you purchased for installation.
Do not disassemble or modify. Failure to do so may result in an accident, fire, or electric shock.
Small objects such as bolts or screws should be kept out of the reach of children. Swallowing small objects may cause serious injury. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
Do not use any features that distract you while driving.
Product cleaning: Please clean this product regularly with a dry soft cloth. If the dirt is difficult to remove, just dampen a soft cloth with water. Any other solvent may dissolve.
Temperature: Before turning on the unit, please make sure that the temperature in the car is between +70°C and -20°C.
Maintenance: If you encounter a problem, do not repair it yourself. Please return this product to an authorized Nakamichi dealer or the nearest Nakamichi service center for repair.
System matching: When using Nakamichi DSP to distribute signals to speakers by active frequency division, please ensure that the treble frequency division point is above 1500Hz, so as not to damage the tweeter.
Installation location: This machine cannot be installed in any of the following places:
- Near direct sunlight and heat sources
- Places with high humidity and near water sources
- Dusty places
- Places with severe vibration
Machine Interface Diagram
Installation Instruction:
The Velcro is attached to the bottom of the fuselage.
Interface Description:
- A: Wire controller (Optional): Allows adjustment of wire controller functions.
- B: Controller port: For connecting the wire controller.
- C: AUX-OUTPUT: Low-level RCA output, links up to 6-channel low-level signal output.
- USB: For inserting a U disk to play music.
- D: PC port: Connects to a computer for debugging software.
- E: Power Indicator: Shows the power status.
- F: MACHINE START MODE SWITCH: Selects between ACC or HOST signal for startup.
- G: HIGH LEVEL INPUT AND OUTPUT PORT: Connects high-level signals. Details the pinout for RR+/RR-, RL+/RL-, FR+/FR-, FL+/FL-, FR-, FL-, RL-, RR-, GND, +12V, REM, ACC.
Note on wiring: Use the special wire for the original car or define external wiring material. Before connecting power, confirm the power supply meets the device's requirements and connect strictly according to instructions to avoid damage, fire, or electric shock.
Software Introduction
PC Software Operation
Tuning Software Download Method:
- Method 1: Web page address: http://www.nakamichicaraudio.com/pages/downloads/Nakamichi-E
- Method 2: Scan the QR code on the left to get the download address of the tuning software.
A. MENU EDITING AREA:
Main functions include: file, options, mute, default output, clear output, connect, homepage, mixing, delay, and input source selection.
- File: Load scene from computer, save scene to computer, load whole machine scene, save whole machine scene.
- Option: Select Steering Wheel Control Learning, Factory Reset, Update Firmware, Language, Admin Login, Password Modify, and About.
Mixing Interface: Enter the mixing interface by switching input sources (High Level, Bluetooth/Device, USB). The interface varies based on the main audio source.
Main Source Selection: Select input source (Hi Level, AUX, BT/DEV, Player, Optical, COAX).
Mixing Source Selection: Select mixing source (BT/DEV, Hi Level, Player, or OFF).
Note: The mixed audio source cannot be the same as the main audio source. If the main audio source is BT/DEV, the BT/DEV of the mixed audio source cannot be selected. If the audio source for mixing is X (any audio source), X is also selected for the main audio source, and the audio source will automatically turn OFF.
Output Configuration:
- Click "Default output" to reset the output configuration.
- Click "Clear output" to clear the output configuration.
Master Volume: Slide left and right to adjust the master volume. The master volume range is -60dB to +6dB.
Connection Status: Click "Not connect" to link the PC to the host. Status indicators show "Not connected", "Connect", and "Connected" with different colors.

B. CHANNEL SELECTION AREA
Main Function: Configure the type of output channel. If there is a conflict, the channel will be grayed out. If a channel is empty, it will be muted.
C. CHANNEL DELAY, VOLUME, PHASE EDITING AREA
- Volume adjustment: Push the fader left and right or input a value to adjust volume. Click the horn button ? to mute.
- Positive and negative phase adjustment: Click [Normal phase] or [Reverse phase] to switch.
- Delay range: 6 milliseconds, 0 to 340 centimeters, 0 to 133.86 inches.
- Delay unit: Select milliseconds, centimeters, or inches from the drop-down list.
- Phase angle: Can only be adjusted when the channel type is high frequency and ultra low.
D. CHANNEL DIVIDER EDITING AREA
Main Function: Channel high and low pass frequency division setting.
Adjustable: Filter type, frequency point, and Q value (slope or sharp slope).
- Frequency adjustable range: 20Hz-20000Hz. High pass frequency ≤ Low pass frequency.
- Type: Butterworth, Bessel, Link-Ril.
- Slope: 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48 dB/Oct, and OFF.
E. EQUALIZER EDITING AREA
- "Reset EQ" button: Restores the 15-band equalizer parameters to their original direct mode values (frequency, Q value, and gain).
- "Parametric EQ" button: Adjusts frequency and Q value. In the corresponding graphic equalizer, frequency and Q value cannot be adjusted.
- "Straight through equalization" button: Restores the gain of the 15 EQ points to 0.0. If any position is other than 0.0, it indicates straight-through equalization.
F. CHANNEL EQ EDITING AREA
Main Function: Balanced design of current output channel. 15 frequency bands can be adjusted for frequency, Q value (response bandwidth), and gain (increase or decrease the frequency response near the frequency point).

How to Download the App:
- Apple mobile users: Search for "Nakamichi-E" in the App Store.
- Android mobile users:
- Method 1: Visit http://www.nakamichicaraudio.com, navigate to Downloads, and download "Nakamichi-E".
- Method 2: Search for "Nakamichi-E" on Google Play and download.
App Interface Overview:
- 1. Main Interface: Share sound effects, save audio effects, play local effects, check model/version, exit software, encrypt data, store/recall 6 preset scenes.
- A. Connection status: Black means not connected, Red means connected.
- B. Scene preset: 1-6 presets available.
- C. Audio source options: Bluetooth, Optical Fiber, Coaxial, USB.
- D. Volume adjustment: Press and hold to adjust volume clockwise or counterclockwise. Main volume range: -60~6. Subwoofer range: -6~6. Medium, high, and low volume range: -6dB ~ +6dB. Tap the speaker button ? to mute master volume.
- E. Menu: Perform operations like output channel adjustment, Equalizer adjustment, mixing mode adjustment, system settings, and music playback.
- Channel Interface: Channel selection, volume mute, forward/reverse phase, HPF/LPF settings, and joint tuning.
- F. Delay unit switching: Switch between milliseconds, centimeters, and inches.
- G. Output channel selection: 6 channels available.
H. Channel type selection: Front audio, rear audio, center audio, subwoofer audio, surround audio.
I. Channel volume: Slide left and right to adjust volume. Range: -60~6.
J. Delay setting: Slide dots left and right to set delay. Range: 10 milliseconds, 0 to 340 centimeters, 0 to 133.86 inches.
K. Mute: Click the speaker button ? to mute.
L. Channel phase: Switch between forward and reverse phase.
M. Channel joint debugging settings: Click the joint debugging button to open a window for selecting the joint debugging method.
N. Mixer Interface: Adjust mixing via High Level, Bluetooth/Device, or USB. The interface varies based on the main audio source.
O. EQ Interface: Adjust output channel EQ curve (gain, Q value, frequency). Settings for reset, pass-through, or parametric equalization.
P. EQ display: Edit the display area.
Q. EQ settings (Reset, Parametric, Pass-through): Click [Reset] to restore 15-band equalizer parameters to factory defaults. Click [PEQ] to switch between [PEQ] and [GEQ] modes during channel adjustment.
R. HPF and LPF adjustment: Frequency range: 20Hz-20kHz. Channel type: Butterworth, Bessel, Link-Ril. Slope selection: 6dB/Oct, 12dB/Oct, 18dB/Oct, 24dB/Oct, 30dB/Oct, 36dB/Oct, 42dB/Oct, 48dB/Oct, and OFF.
S. Output EQ frequency, gain, and Q value settings: Adjust frequency, gain, and Q value for each of the 15 EQ bands. Frequency range: 20Hz-20KHz, Gain range: -12dB to +12dB, Q value range: 0.3-50.
T. System Interface: Restore factory settings, adjust noise gate, set modes, check model and version.
U. Noise gate setting: -60 to -120.
V. Mode setting: Switch and save presets PR1-PR6.
W. Restore factory settings: Click "Restore factory settings", then click "OK" to reset all values.
X. Music Interface: When connected via USB or Bluetooth/Device, play, pause, skip tracks, loop, or play randomly/once.
Y. Select playback source: BT/DEV, High Level, USB.
Z. Playlist: Sorted alphabetically.
AA. Song name and folder name: Displayed for selection.
BB. Music adjustment: Use ▶️/⏸️ to play/pause, ⏮️ for previous song, ⏭️ for next song, ?/? for loop modes, ? for random loop mode.
