Introduction
The Nakamichi NDSE100A is a digital sound processor designed for car audio systems, offering advanced tuning capabilities to enhance audio performance.

- System Matching: When using active frequency division, ensure the treble frequency division point is above 1500Hz to prevent tweeter damage.

The Nakamichi NDSE100A can be controlled and tuned using PC software or a mobile app.
PC Software Operation
Tuning Software Download Method:
- Method 1: Visit nakamichicaraudio.com/pages/downloadsNDSE
- Method 2: Scan the QR code (not included in HTML) to get the download address.
Menu Editing Area:
Main functions include: File, Options, Mute, Suppress Output, Clear Output, Connect, Homepage, Mix & Mix, Delay, and Input Source selection.
- File Menu: Load/save scenes to/from the computer.
- Options Menu: Access factory reset, firmware update, language settings, administrator login, password modification, etc.
Mixing Interface:
Adjust mixing and mixing can be done by selecting high level, Bluetooth/device, or USB. The interface varies based on the main sound source.
- Select main audio source (e.g., HiLevel, BT/DEV, Player).
- Select mixing source.
- Note: The mixed audio source cannot be the same as the main audio source.
- Default Output: Resets output configuration.
- Clear Output: Clears output configuration.
- Master Volume adjustment via sliding left/right.
- Connection status indicated by color (e.g., Red for connected, Black for not connected).
Channel Selection Area:
Configure the type of output channel (e.g., Front Left, Rear Right, Subwoofer). Conflicts result in grayed-out channels; empty channels are muted.
Channel Delay, Volume, Phase Editing Area:
- Volume adjustment: Use faders or input values. Mute via speaker icon.
- Phase adjustment: Switch between Normal and Reverse phase.
- Delay range: 0.000~25.000 ms, 0~850 cm, or 0~334.65 inches. Delay unit can be switched.
- Phase angle adjustment is available for high frequency and ultra-low channels.
Channel Divider Editing Area:
Set high and low pass frequencies. Adjustable parameters include filter type (Butterworth, Bessel, Link-Ril), frequency point, and Q value (slope). Slope options range from 6dB/Oct to 48dB/Oct.
Equalizer Editing Area:
- Reset EQ: Restores 31-band equalizer parameters to default.
- Parametric EQ: Adjust frequency and Q value. Graphic equalizer display shows frequency and Q value.
- Straight Through EQ: Resets gain to 0.0 for all EQ points.
Channel EQ Editing Area:
Configure balanced design for output channels. Adjust frequency, Q value (response bandwidth), and gain for 31 frequency bands.
Mobile App
App Download:
- iOS: Search for "NDSE" in the App Store.

App Interface:
- Main Interface: Share/save sound effects, load local effects, check model/version, exit. Supports 6 preset scenes.
