User Instruction: Smart Curtain Lights

Introduction

Thank you for choosing our curtain lights. These string lights are easy to install and can be used both indoors and outdoors. With DIY mode and Music mode, you can design your own lighting effects and bring more fun to your life.

Specification

Caution

1. Power on the lights before installing. If any defect, contact the seller.
2. The 20 lines are tied together to avoid tangling. Do not spread them before installing.
3. Use the 'Horizontal Flip' function to get proper orientation. This function is available on both the remote and the APP.
4. The remote's valid distance is short (2M) due to the waterproof shell of the control box. The IR receiver is under the button. Aim the remote at the button when using it. It is recommended to use the APP to control the lights.

How to Install

There are 2 methods to install the lights:

Method 1: Use Hooks

Use the provided hooks. For example, hook the lights to the top of a curtain. Then the lights can follow the curtain to fold and unfold. If the hooks do not fit, please use other size hooks to bridge.

Method 2: Use Stickers

Use the double-sided stickers. Choose the surface you want to stick. Ensure the surface is clean, smooth, and dry. Rough or dusty surfaces will cause failure.

Paste the sticker to the hook one by one until each hook has a sticker. Then, paste the hooks to the surface one by one. Hold the other hooks until all are pasted.

Remote

The IR remote has a valid distance of 2 meters due to the waterproof shell of the control box. Please aim at the control box button when using the remote.

Power Source:

Pull out the transparent chip from the remote before using. Insert the chip back into the remote after use to save battery power. If the battery runs out, search for "CR2025 battery" online or purchase one at a local store.

Pair to APP

1. Scan the QR code on the controller box to download and install the APP on your phone.
2. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
3. Open the APP, tap the '+' icon in the top right corner, and search for new devices.
4. The APP will show the device found; simply add it.
5. Tap the device icon to enter the control panel.

Trouble Shooting

a) APP cannot find the device:

• Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is on.
• Allow the APP's permissions. The APP needs them to connect to the device.
• Check if the strip light is on. Alternatively, use the remote control to check if the light is working.
• Close the APP, turn off Bluetooth, then turn it back on. Restart the APP to add the device again.
• Ensure your phone is within 4ft (1.2m) of the product without obstructions when connecting.
• Your phone may be incompatible with the APP; try another phone.

b) All lights do not work:

• Check if the power is on.
• Press the ON button and then press "brightness up" multiple times on the remote.
• Connect to the APP, turn on the light, and increase the brightness.
• Reinstall all parts.

c) Some light beads are off or not working:

• Contact the support team.

To maintain compliance with FCC's RF Exposure guidelines, this equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and your body. Use only the supplied antenna.
