How to Connect?
- Connect the LED Controller with the LED Light Strip.
- Connect the LED Controller with the power supply.
- Plug in the power supply.
Note: Please use a 5V 2A or above adapter. 5V 1A and below may cause the product to not work properly.
Power-on Test Before You Install
- Unpack the box and check all items included.
- Power on the strip light and check whether it lights up.
Caution: Do NOT power on before unrolling the strip light.
How to Install?
- Stick onto a smooth, dry, clean surface (e.g., Glass, Ceramic Tile).
- Avoid rough and dusty surfaces (e.g., Dust Wall, Frosted glass).
- Clean the surface, dry it, and then stick the LED strip.
- Press the entire strip light repeatedly with force for secure adhesion.
Recommended Tip: Try to bend with a bigger radian to protect the strip light and its electronic components.
Control by Button
- Turn on or turn off light
- Adjust the brightness
- Switch mode
Control by App
- Scan the QR code on the controller to install the APP.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
- Open the APP, tap the '+' icon in the top right corner and search for new devices.
- The APP will show the device found; simply add it.
- Tap the device icon to enter the control panel and explore its features.
App Download Methods:
- Method 1: Search for "DayBetter" in the App Store/Google Play Store to download.
- Method 2: Scan the provided QR code to switch to the App Store/Google Play Store for download.
Tips and Cautions
- Unroll the strip light before powering on.
- Perform a power-on test before installation. The power supply must be 5V 2A.
- Be cautious of static electricity during installation and usage.
- Do NOT allow children to install the strip light alone.
- Please turn off the power and unplug the adapter if the strip light will not be used for a long time.
- Keep the product away from sharp objects or strong corrosive chemicals.
- Please do NOT connect more strips to the product, as this will cause the power adapter to overload.
- Adjust mic sensitivity and the distance between the sound source and the phone/device mic in Music Mode to achieve the best music synchronization.
- It is normal for the USB head to become slightly warm.
- Please contact DayBetter customer service if you encounter any problems or receive a defective product. Responses will be provided within 24 hours.
Troubleshooting
1. App cannot discover the device:
- Check if the device is powered on.
- Ensure the app is the latest version. Older versions may not detect new models.
- Make sure the device and phone are within a 6 ft (approx. 1.8 meters) distance.
- On the 'add device' page, wait up to 10 seconds for the device to appear.
- Ensure the phone's Bluetooth is on and all required permissions are granted.
- Power off the device, close the app, reopen the app, power on the device, and try connecting again.
- Disable and then re-enable the phone's Bluetooth, then attempt to connect again.
- Your phone might be incompatible with the app; try using a different phone.
If the issue persists, please contact customer support or the seller.
