For the duration of the applicable Event, GTD TR Article 8.12.2, shall be applied as follows for all forms of Torque Sensor Offset Test (spin test). The data submission will be via SharePoint per TB 25-03. Entrants are required to perform torque sensor spin tests according to requirements of Technical Regulations. Tests are permitted to be completed in the Entrant's paddock area by Entrant's staff, unless otherwise directed by IMSA Officials.
Spin Test Requirements and Submission
- Spin tests must be performed on both axles and submitted:
- Within the specified windows
- And in the event of:
- Over-torque
- Axle replacement
- Removal/reinstallation of axle
- Mechanical change(s) made to the driveline components
Any spin test performed outside the specified windows should be placed in the "0_Over Torques" folder on SharePoint.
Filename template must match this structure: [car]_[cardinfo]_[RecDateYear][RecDateMon][RecDateDay]_[RecStart]_Out[outing03]
