Incorrect operation may cause serious injury or property damage, or the aircraft may be lost. Potensic assumes no responsibility for accidents arising from assembly, use, or operation.
  • This product is suitable for experienced UAV pilots aged 14 and above.
  • Flying must take place at a locally legal flying site for R/C models.
  • Potensic assumes no safety responsibility arising from the use, operation, or control of the aircraft after purchase.

2. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The R/C aircraft model can be dangerous. Keep it far away from any person or spectators when flying. Incorrect installation, body damage, poor electronic control, or unfamiliarity with operation may cause damage to the aircraft, injure people, or lead to unexpected accidents. Pay close attention to flying safety and learn to recognize dangerous conditions that may lead to accidents due to negligence.

3. PREFLIGHT PRECAUTIONS

  • Check if the battery levels of the transmitter and receiver are saturated.
  • Check if the throttle joystick and throttle of the transmitter are trimmed at the center position before power-on.
  • Follow the correct ON/OFF sequence: turn on the transmitter power first, then the aircraft. For powering off, turn off the aircraft first, then the transmitter. Incorrect sequence may cause uncontrolled status of the aircraft, affecting personal safety. Develop correct ON/OFF habits.
  • Check if the connection between the battery and parts like the motor is firm and reliable. Continuous vibration may cause loose power connectors, leading to uncontrolled status.
  • Keep the aircraft far from structures and crowds. Avoid flying near buildings, trees, structures, high voltage wires, etc. Also, avoid flying in adverse weather conditions such as rain, electrical storms, and high winds to ensure safety.
  • Keep the aircraft away from moist environments. The interior contains precision electronic and mechanical parts. Moisture ingress may cause breakdowns and accidents.
  • Only operate with included parts for intended use. Use original parts for any upgrade, re-equipping, or maintenance. Operate only within the product's permitted functions and do not use for illegal purposes or beyond local laws and regulations.
  • Avoid independent operation for new users. New users may find operation difficult. Try to avoid operating alone; always operate under the guidance of an experienced user when available.
  • Operate according to your own state and flying skill. Fatigue, bad mental state, or incorrect operation may increase the probability of accidental risk.
  • When flying at high speed, keep the aircraft far from the pilot and surrounding persons or objects to avoid danger or damage.
  • The R/C aircraft is composed of metal, fiber, plastic, and electronics. Keep it away from heat sources and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can cause distortion and damage.

  • Operate strictly as shown in the manual during debugging or assembly. Maintain a distance of 1-2 meters from users or other persons during flight or landing to avoid head, face, or body injury.
  • Potensic and its distributors are not responsible for incorrect operation causing loss, damage, or injury.
  • Children aged 14 and above should use this product under adult guidance. This product is FORBIDDEN for use by children under 14 years old.
  • Correctly assemble and use the product as shown in the manual or packing instructions. Some parts require adult assembly.
  • Small parts are included. Keep out of reach of children to avoid choking hazards or accidental swallowing.
  • Playing on roads or near high traffic areas is strictly FORBIDDEN.
  • Dispose of packing material timely to prevent injury to children.
  • DO NOT disassemble or re-equip the aircraft, as it may cause breakdown during flight.
  • Use the original charging cable.
  • The remote control uses 1.5V/AAA batteries (not included).
  • Only the original charger made by Potensic can be used.
  • The charger is not a toy.
  • When charging the battery, conduct it under adult surveillance. Keep it far from combustible objects and within eyesight.
  • DO NOT short-circuit or squeeze the battery to avoid explosion.
  • DO NOT mix lithium batteries with different types of batteries.
  • DO NOT short-circuit, decompose, or throw batteries into fire. DO NOT place batteries near high temperatures or heated areas.
  • Keep the aircraft far from other electrical equipment or magnetic objects that may cause interference.
  • Keep a safe distance from high-speed rotating rotors to avoid twisting, wounding, or cutting.
  • The engine will heat up; DO NOT touch it to avoid burns or injury.
  • The Light Emitting Diode can emit laser radiation. DO NOT shoot the light beam directly at someone or stare at it.
  • DO NOT bring the product close to your ear, as it may cause hearing injury.
  • USB charging cable is equipped.
  • To comply with magnetic environment requirements, during regulated periods in certain areas, stop using the transmitter when such a command is issued.

Avoid flying near: crowds, trees, high voltage power lines, buildings, airports, territorial waters, or high-intensity power line base stations, as these may affect the drone's compass.

Blade Replacement

1. Replace with a new blade at the corresponding position. Blade A should be installed on position A, and blade B on position B. Incorrect installation will prevent the drone from being operated or controlled.

2. Blade A rotates clockwise, and blade B rotates anticlockwise while flying.

Micro SD Card Slot

(Only for DSDR05B model)

Insert the micro SD card into the slot of the camera. Minimum capacity: 4GB. Maximum capacity: 128GB. Images and video files will be recorded on the SD card only, not saved in the App or your phone. You can manually upload from the gallery to your phone. The package list does not contain an SD card.

Remote Controller Setup

Phone Holder: Push the phone holder upwards, insert one side of the phone into the bottom slot, and pull the lever upwards until the phone is inserted. The clip will retract automatically when the phone is removed.

Batteries: The remote control requires three AAA batteries (sold separately). Pay attention to battery polarity. Use only recommended battery types. Do not mix old and new or different types. Remove exhausted batteries promptly. Remove batteries if the device is not used for a long time to prevent leakage.

Charging the Aircraft's Battery

Battery Removal: Press the battery clip and pull the battery out from the aircraft.

Lithium Battery Charging Instructions:

  1. Connect the USB charging cable to the battery port and the charging head. Plug the USB terminal into a computer USB port or a USB power adapter. The charger light is red when charging and green when completed.
  2. Aircraft lithium battery charging period is approximately 150 minutes (depending on the charging power source).

Notices for Charging:

  • Do not place charged batteries in high-temperature environments (e.g., near flames or electric heaters) to avoid damage or explosion.
  • Do not strike or hit batteries on hard surfaces.
  • Do not disassemble the battery.
  • Do not immerse the battery in water; store it in a desiccative place.
  • Personnel must not leave the vicinity while charging.

Operation Method

Step Action Description
1 Ascend / Descend / Left / Right Turn Use the left control stick to control altitude and rotation during flight. ⬆️ Ascend, ⬇️ Descend.
2 Forward / Backward / Left / Right Use the right control stick to control forward/backward and left/right movement during flight. ➡️ Forward, ⬅️ Backward, ↪️ Right, ↩️ Left.
3 Fine-adjusting to the left/right / forward/reverse side When the drone drifts right, adjust fine-tuning to the left. When it drifts left, adjust fine-tuning to the right. If offset backward, adjust according to the front. If offset forward, adjust according to the rear.
4 360° rotation to the left/right/forward/reverse Short press the upper right button, then push the right joystick left/right/up/down to perform a 360° roll in that direction.
5 Headless mode ? In headless mode, the operator does not need to recognize the drone's nose position. Control is based on the direction of the joystick relative to the operator.
6 Switch mode ?️ Turn the switch to the left for Mode 1 (American hand mode). Turn to the right for Mode 2 (Japanese hand mode). Mode 1 is the default setting.
7 Emergency landing ? When the drone encounters an obstacle or in an emergency, press the speed button and the flip button simultaneously to make an emergency landing.
