Potensic ATOM 2 Quick Start Guide

Getting Started

Welcome to the Potensic ATOM 2 Quick Start Guide. This document will help you set up and begin flying your new drone.

1. Download the App & Watch Tutorials:

• Scan the QR code to download the Potensic Eve app.
• Watch tutorial videos on YouTube for guidance.

Available on the App Store and Google Play.

2. Charge the Smart Battery:

• Charge the Smart Battery before its first use.
• An additional charging hub can be purchased separately.

3. Powering On/Off:

• Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.

Important Note: An SD card is required for photo shooting and video recording. It is recommended to use cards with a U3 or V30 rating or above.

Connecting and Flying

4. Connecting to the App:

• Tap "Guide" in the Potensic Eve app to view animated connection guides.
• Once connected, you can tap "Fly Now" to begin your flight.

5. Flight Modes (Mode 2):

• Takeoff/Landing:
• To take off, long press on the blank area of the screen and then swipe.
• The screen will display flight status, including connection, takeoff permission, battery level, and GPS signal.

6. Return to Home (RTH):

• The drone must be in GNSS mode for RTH.
• 1. Return Ascent: The drone ascends to the set return altitude. If the drone's current altitude is already higher than the return altitude, it will proceed to step 2.
• 2. Return Flight: The drone flies back to the home point.
• 3. Landing: The drone lands safely.

Beginner Tip: For beginners, choose an open outdoor area during the day and practice flight maneuvers in GNSS mode.
