SEVERIN KG 2395 Warranty Information
Article Number: KG 2395
Your Statutory Rights
If your appliance is defective, you retain your statutory buyer's rights. Exercising these rights is free of charge and must be asserted against your contract partner (the dealer). This warranty is a voluntary, additional service provided by SEVERIN as the manufacturer and does not restrict your statutory rights.
Manufacturer's Warranty Commitment
SEVERIN commits to the following:
- If the appliance is defective at the time of risk transfer (i.e., upon receipt), SEVERIN, as the manufacturer, will, at its discretion, remedy the defect free of charge within a reasonable period or provide you with a new, defect-free appliance.
- This warranty is not a durability warranty.
- This warranty applies to the appliance with the article number stated on the front (KG 2395).
- Prerequisite for warranty service is that you purchased this appliance as new.
- The warranty does not apply to used equipment that has been repaired or refurbished by a third party.
Claim Period and Limitations
To claim warranty service, you must assert your rights within two years of receiving the appliance. This applies to purchases made in physical retail stores (from the time of pickup) and mail-order purchases (from the delivery date).
SEVERIN does not assume further voluntary obligations, such as reimbursement of transport, installation, or dismantling costs. Statutory obligations remain unaffected.
Warranty Exclusions
A warranty claim is not justified for defects or faults caused by:
- Incorrect setup or installation, including non-observance of applicable safety regulations or written instructions for use, installation, and assembly.
- Improper use, including improper operation or misuse.
- External influences, such as transport damage, damage from shock or impact, or damage caused by weather conditions.
- Current and voltage fluctuations outside the tolerance limits.
- Non-observance of maintenance and cleaning work according to the instructions for use.
- Use-conditioned or natural wear and tear, such as decreasing charging capacity of rechargeable batteries, lamps, or components that typically require regular replacement during the product's lifecycle.
How to Make a Claim
To assert your warranty rights, please contact your contract partner (the dealer from whom you purchased the appliance) and provide the following information:
- Your full name, address, and phone number or email address where you can be reached.
- A description of the defect (a brief description of the symptoms is sufficient).
- The date of purchase or, if different, the date of delivery of the appliance.
Your dealer will then contact SEVERIN to arrange everything else.
Alternatively, you can submit the above information directly to SEVERIN customer service. Contact details valid for your country can be found in the appendix to this warranty statement or on the SEVERIN website.
