SEVERIN SM 3734 Blender Warranty Information
Brand: SEVERIN
Model: SM 3734
Your Statutory Rights
If your appliance is defective, you have statutory buyer's rights regarding defects. Exercising these rights is free of charge. These rights must be asserted against your contract partner (the dealer from whom you purchased the appliance). Contractual arrangements between you and the dealer must be observed. This warranty does not restrict your statutory rights in case of defects.
Manufacturer's Warranty
SEVERIN, as the manufacturer, voluntarily provides this additional warranty service.
Warranty Coverage: If the appliance is defective at the time of risk transfer (i.e., upon receipt) according to statutory provisions, SEVERIN will, at its discretion, remedy the defect free of charge within a reasonable time or provide a new, defect-free appliance. This is not a durability warranty.
Validity: This warranty applies to the appliance with the article number stated on the front. It is valid only for newly purchased appliances. It does not apply to used, repaired, or refurbished equipment.
Claim Period: To claim warranty service, you must assert your rights within two years of receiving the appliance (from shop pickup for retail purchases, or from delivery date for mail-order purchases). SEVERIN does not cover additional voluntary obligations like transport, installation, or dismantling costs. Statutory obligations remain unaffected.
What is Not Covered by the Warranty
The warranty does not cover defects or faults caused by:
- Incorrect setup or installation, including non-observance of safety regulations or written instructions for use, installation, and assembly.
- Improper use, including improper operation or misuse.
- External influences such as transport damage, shock or impact damage, or weather-related damage.
- Current and voltage fluctuations outside tolerance limits.
- Non-observance of maintenance and cleaning procedures as per the instructions for use.
- Use-conditioned or natural wear and tear, such as decreasing charging capacity of rechargeable batteries, lamps, or components that typically require regular replacement during the product's lifecycle.
How to Claim Your Warranty
To assert your warranty rights, please contact your contract partner (the dealer from whom you purchased the appliance) and provide the following information:
- Your full name, address, and phone number or email address for contact.
- A description of the defect (a brief description of the symptoms is sufficient).
- Date of purchase or, if different, the date of delivery of the appliance.
Your dealer will then contact SEVERIN to arrange further steps. Alternatively, you can contact SEVERIN customer service directly with the above information. Contact details for your country can be found in the appendix to the warranty statement or on the website www.severin.com.
