Get even more control and personalization of your listening experience with the free JBL Headphones app. Download it from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. (App available for China only).
How to Wear
- Try different ear tip sizes (S/M/L) for a perfect fit and optimal audio performance.
- Insert the earbuds into your ears, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit.
First Time Use
- Place the earbuds in the charging case.
- Close the case.
Power On & Connect
- Open the charging case to power on the earbuds.
- To connect, go to your device's Bluetooth settings, select "JBL WAVE BEAM" to pair.
- For Android 6.0+ devices, you can use Fast Pair.
Dual Connect
Use both earbuds for Stereo Mode or a single earbud for Mono Mode.
Controls
Control your music and calls with simple tap and hold gestures:
- Tap x1: Play/Pause music, Answer/End call
- Tap x2: Next track, Reject call
- Tap x3: Previous track
- Hold (2s): Activate Voice Assistant (Bixby/Siri/Others), Ambient Aware, or TalkThru.

VoiceAware
Adjust the level of ambient sound you hear with VoiceAware. Choose from Low, Mid, or High settings in the JBL Headphones app.
Power Off
Place the earbuds in the charging case and close the lid to power them off.
Manual Setup
Connect to a new Bluetooth device: Follow the standard Bluetooth pairing process.
Factory Reset: Place both earbuds in the charging case, keep the case open, and press and hold the button on the case for more than 5 seconds until the LED flashes.
Do More with the App
Customize gestures, control ambient sound settings (Ambient Aware, TalkThru), and adjust the equalizer for a personalized audio experience.
Charging
- Place the earbuds in the charging case.
- Connect the charging case to a USB power source using the provided cable.
- A 10-minute charge provides approximately 2 hours of playtime.
- A full charge takes less than 2 hours.

Battery Lifespan
