Printing Instructions
Caution: Ensure mounting template is printed true-to-scale. Before modifying the mounting surface, ensure the actual printed template matches the measurements provided in the template document.
Configuring Adobe Acrobat for Raymarine Recommended Print Settings
Adobe Acrobat must be correctly configured to ensure mounting templates print true-to-scale.
With the mounting template document open in Acrobat Reader:
- Select File → Properties.
- Make a note of the Page Size.
- Select File → Print. The print dialog is displayed.
- Select Properties.
- Ensure the paper size is set to the same dimensions as the page size noted in Step 1.
- Click OK to return to the print settings dialog.
- Ensure "Size Options" and "Page Scaling" options (as appropriate) are set to "Actual Size" or "None".
- Ensure the "Auto-Rotate and Center" or "Auto portrait/landscape" option (as appropriate) is NOT ticked.
- Select the relevant orientation to match the template document orientation ("portrait" or "landscape"; most templates are landscape).
Template Diagram
The mounting template provides a visual guide for the transducer installation. It includes measurements for the cut-out and positioning of the transducer.
Key measurements indicated on the template:
- BOW Direction: Indicated by an arrow pointing towards the front of the vessel.
- Transducer Cut-out Diameter: Ø 70 mm (2.76 in).
- Vertical Mounting Dimension: 113.61 mm (4.47 in).
- Horizontal Mounting Dimension: 142.0 mm (5.59 in).
- Distance to front end of transducer: 130.4 mm (5.13 in).
- Distance to rear end of transducer: 46.98 mm (1.85 in).
- Total length of transducer (including isolator plate): 319.38 mm (12.57 in).
- Smaller hole diameter: Ø 16 mm (0.63 in).
