Pairing AirFly with AirPods

Step 1: Turn on AirFly

Slide the ON/OFF switch upwards to turn on the AirFly. Upon first power-on, AirFly automatically enters pairing mode, indicated by blinking white and yellow lights. Proceed to Step 2.

Note: To re-pair or reset AirFly in the future, press and hold the Reset button for four seconds to enter pairing mode.

Tip: Pairing is easiest when Bluetooth is deactivated on the device previously used with your AirPods.

Step 2: Activate AirPods Pairing Mode

To activate pairing mode for your AirPods, first place them in the charging case. With the lid open, press and hold the button on the back of the charging case until the light blinks white.

Step 3: Successful Pairing

After successful pairing*, the light on the AirPods charging case will turn green, and the light on the AirFly will be solid white and turn off after 10 seconds. ✔️

*First-time pairing can take up to 90 seconds, but AirFly will remember your AirPods for future connections.

Step 4: Connect to Audio Source

Connect AirFly to any device with a standard headphone jack to listen to audio wirelessly.

Pairing AirFly with Wireless Headphones

Step 1: Turn on AirFly

Slide the ON/OFF switch upwards to turn on the AirFly. Upon first power-on, AirFly automatically enters pairing mode, indicated by blinking white and yellow lights. Proceed to Step 2.

Note: To re-pair or reset AirFly in the future, press and hold the Reset button for four seconds to enter pairing mode.

Tip: To simplify pairing, turn off Bluetooth on the device previously used with your headphones.

Step 2: Activate Headphone Pairing Mode

Put your headphones into Bluetooth pairing mode (refer to your headphone's user manual for specific instructions). ?

Step 3: Successful Pairing

After successful pairing*, the light on the AirFly will be solid white and turn off after 10 seconds. ✔️

*First-time pairing can take up to 90 seconds, but AirFly will remember your headphones for future connections.

Volume Control and Mute

To adjust the AirFly's volume, press the volume buttons (up "+" or down "-"). You can also press and hold the volume buttons (up "+" or down "-") to gradually increase (or decrease) the volume until the upper or lower limit is reached.

Muting AirFly

To temporarily mute the AirFly's audio, double-click the volume down ("-") button. The light will blink yellow continuously to indicate that the volume is muted. Double-click the volume down button again to unmute and return to the previous volume setting.

Battery Status Indicator

To check the AirFly battery status, double-click the volume up (+) button:

Turning AirFly On and Off

Use the switch on the side of the AirFly to turn it on or off. Slide up to turn on. Slide down to turn off. AirFly will automatically reconnect to your headphones when you turn it back on.

Reconnecting Headphones to Your Smartphone/Tablet

Once paired, AirFly remembers your AirPods/headphones and switches to them when the device is turned on. To use your AirPods/headphones with your smartphone or tablet again, first turn off AirFly. On your device, open Bluetooth settings and select your headphones from the list. The status will change from "Not Connected" to "Connected" once the headphones are successfully paired with your device.

Charging AirFly

To charge, simply connect the included USB-C to USB-A charging cable to AirFly and then to any powered USB port. AirFly will be fully charged within 2 hours. The internal battery lasts approximately 20 hours. It is recommended to fully charge AirFly before its first use. If your AirFly is low on power, it will blink yellow three times to indicate it needs charging soon. While charging, the AirFly light will be solid yellow. The yellow light turns off when fully charged. AirFly can remain plugged in and charging during use.

Tips & Tricks

  1. If only one AirPod seems to be playing audio, turn AirFly off and on again. This will resynchronize AirFly and both AirPods should reconnect.
  2. If you wish to pair new headphones with AirFly or are experiencing connection issues with your headphones, reset AirFly by holding the Reset button on the side of AirFly for 4 seconds. After resetting, AirFly will blink yellow 4 times and then enter pairing mode.
