ALEX Drawer Unit Assembly Instructions

Assembly Steps

  1. Step 1: Prepare Base Panels

    Insert 8x dowels (118331) into the designated holes on two base panels. Then, insert 8x screws (110519) into the corresponding holes. Ensure dowels and screws are inserted correctly [?].

  2. Step 2: Attach Side Panels to Base

    Insert 4x dowels (101345) into the holes of the base panels. Insert 4x screws (101345) into the corresponding holes on the base panels to attach the side panels.

  3. Step 3: Attach Back Panel

    Insert 4x screws (101345) to attach a back panel to the base assembly.

  4. Step 4: Position Side Panel

    Slide one side panel into the assembled base structure [⬇️].

  5. Step 5: Secure Side Panel with Cam Locks

    Insert 2x cam bolts (119252) into the side panel. Insert 2x cam locks (103114) into the corresponding holes on the base panel and turn them to secure the side panel. Ensure cam locks are oriented correctly [↪️].

  6. Step 6: Attach Support Piece

    Insert 4x dowels (101350) into the holes of a support piece. Insert 4x screws (101350) into the corresponding holes to attach the support piece.

  7. Step 7: Insert Vertical Panels

    Insert two vertical panels into the base assembly, aligning them with the pre-drilled holes.

  8. Step 8: Attach Another Side Panel

    Insert 2x cam bolts (103114) into the vertical panels. Insert 2x cam locks (103114) into the corresponding holes on the other side panel and turn to secure.

  9. Step 9: Position Top Panel

    Place the top panel onto the assembled structure, aligning the holes.

  10. Step 10: Secure Top Panel

    Insert 2x cam bolts (119252) into the side panels. Insert 2x cam locks (103114) into the top panel and turn to secure.

  11. Step 11: Attach Another Side Panel

    Insert 2x cam bolts (103114) into the vertical panels. Insert 2x cam locks (103114) into the corresponding holes on the remaining side panel and turn to secure.

  12. Step 12: Attach Bottom Panel

    Insert 4x dowels (100481) into the holes of the bottom panel. Insert 4x screws (100481) into the corresponding holes to attach the bottom panel.

  13. Step 13: Position Top Panel

    Place the top panel onto the assembled structure, aligning the holes.

  14. Step 14: Secure Top Panel

    Insert 4x cam bolts (119252) into the side panels. Insert 4x cam locks (119252) into the top panel and turn to secure.

  15. Step 15: Attach Caster Wheels

    Attach 4x caster wheel assemblies to the bottom of the unit using 4x screws (113213) for each wheel. Ensure they are securely fastened [?].

  16. Step 16: Attach Drawer Runner Supports

    Attach two drawer runner supports to the inside of the cabinet using 2x screws (118331) and 2x dowels (118331) for each support.

  17. Step 17: Attach Drawer Runners to Cabinet

    Attach two drawer runners to the cabinet frame using 2x screws (101345) for each runner.

  18. Step 18: Insert Side Panels for Drawer Box

    Insert two side panels into the base of the drawer box assembly.

  19. Step 19: Secure Drawer Box Side Panel

    Insert 2x cam bolts (119252) into the vertical panels. Insert 2x cam locks (103114) into the corresponding holes on a side panel and turn to secure.

  20. Step 20: Slide Drawer Back Panel

    Slide a back panel into the grooves of the drawer box assembly [⬇️].

  21. Step 21: Attach Drawer Back Panel

    Secure the back panel using 2x screws (110519) and a hammer [?].

  22. Step 22: Attach Drawer Box Base Panel

    Attach a base panel to the drawer box assembly using 6x screws (101345).

  23. Step 23: Attach Drawer Runners to Drawer Box

    Attach two drawer runners to the drawer box using 4x screws (101345) for each runner.

  24. Step 24: Insert Drawer Box Side Panels

    Insert two side panels into the base of the drawer box assembly.

  25. Step 25: Secure Drawer Box Side Panel

    Insert 4x cam bolts (119252) into the vertical panels. Insert 4x cam locks (103114) into the corresponding holes on a side panel and turn to secure.

  26. Step 26: Attach Drawer Support Piece

    Attach a support piece to the drawer box assembly using 3x screws (101345).

  27. Step 27: Insert Drawer Runner Support

    Insert a drawer runner support into the drawer box assembly.

  28. Step 28: Secure Drawer Box Side Panel

    Insert 2x cam bolts (119252) into the vertical panels. Insert 2x cam locks (119252) into the corresponding holes on a side panel and turn to secure.

  29. Step 29: Slide Drawer Back Panel

    Slide a back panel into the grooves of the drawer box assembly [⬇️].

  30. Step 30: Attach Drawer Top Panel

    Place the top panel onto the drawer box assembly and secure it using 4x screws (110519).

  31. Step 31: Attach Caster Wheel

    Attach a caster wheel assembly to the bottom of the unit using 1x screw (113213). This step may be a detail of the caster attachment shown in Step 15.

  32. Step 32: Insert Drawer Unit

    Slide the assembled drawer unit into the main cabinet body.

  33. Step 33: Attach Drawer Front

    Attach the drawer front to the drawer box using 2x cam locks (105021) and 2x cam bolts (105021). Turn the cam locks to secure.

  34. Step 34: Attach Second Drawer Front

    Attach the second drawer front to its drawer box using 2x cam locks (105021) and 2x cam bolts (105021). Turn the cam locks to secure.
