Wiring Diagram Description
The wiring diagram illustrates the setup for the KS230 Kit V2 3-Way Smart Dimmer Switch. It shows connections between the Power Source (Line, Neutral, Ground) and the Main Dimmer and Satellite Dimmer units, which then connect to the Light Bulbs via the Load wire.
Key connections include:
- Power Source: Connected to Line, Neutral, and Ground.
- Main Dimmer: Connects to Line, Neutral, Ground, and two 'Traveler' wires.
- Satellite Dimmer: Connects to the two 'Traveler' wires from the Main Dimmer, the Load wire going to the lights, and Ground.
- Electrical Cable: Typically runs inside the wall, carrying these connections.
Note: This wiring diagram is specifically for the KS230 Kit V2. The two traveler wires do not need to be distinguished. Both the Main and Satellite dimmers must be used together for 3-way functionality; they do not work separately or in a 4-way configuration with traditional switches.
