User Manual for the iTouch Pulse Smartwatch

Introduction

Thank you for choosing the iTouch Pulse SmartWatch. This manual will help you understand the full functionality and simple operation of your device. The main function of this SmartWatch is as a notifier for your email, text messages, and social media apps. It can synchronize your phonebook and offers a variety of practical services to make work and leisure activities more enjoyable.

Device Overview

Key Components:

• LCD: Bright LCD backlit screen.
• Power/HOME key: Hold down to power the device on or off. Press once to return to the home interface and activate the LCD backlight.
• Back: Tap once to move back to the previous menu.
• Dial/Keypad: Tap to bring up the dial pad while in standby.
• OK/Answer: Tap to bring up the menu while in standby, confirm key in the main menu, and answer key when receiving a call.
• Microphone
• Magnetic USB charger: For charging your device using the included magnetic USB cable.
• Speaker
• Interchangeable Strap

Getting Started

1. Turn on your iTouch Pulse watch by pressing the Power button.
2. Select your preferred language from the language option screen.
3. Connect your iTouch Pulse to your smartphone via Bluetooth.

iPhone Setup:

1. Download and install the iTOUCH SmartWatch app from the App Store.
2. Activate Bluetooth on your iPhone (Settings >> Bluetooth).
3. Your iTouch Pulse should appear in your phone's Bluetooth Devices list as 'iTOUCH Pulse'. Select it to connect.
4. A blue BT icon should appear on the top left corner of your iTOUCH Pulse.
5. Open the iTOUCH SmartWatch app on your phone.
6. Navigate to the menu (icon in the top left corner) and select 'Device Pair/Sync'.
7. Press 'Start' to search for devices.
8. Select 'iTouch Pulse' from the device list to pair.
9. Confirm pairing when prompted on your phone.
10. The iTouch Pulse will open the Notifier screen. Press 'Back' to return to the home screen.
11. The Bluetooth logo on your iTOUCH Pulse home screen should be half blue and half green, indicating a successful connection.

Android Setup:

1. Download and install the iTOUCH SmartWatch app from the Google Play Store.
2. Activate Bluetooth on your phone and ensure it is visible to other devices.
3. Open the iTOUCH SmartWatch app on your phone.
4. Navigate to the menu (icon in the top left corner) and select 'Device Pair/Sync'.
5. Press 'Start' to search for devices.
6. Select 'iTouch Pulse' from the device list to pair.
7. Confirm pairing when prompted on your phone.
8. The iTouch Pulse will open the Notifier screen. Press 'Back' to return to the home screen.
9. The Bluetooth logo on your iTOUCH Pulse home screen should be half blue and half green, indicating a successful connection.

App Functions:

• Android: Camera Remote, Music Remote, Find Phone, SMS, Mail, Social Media Notifications, Pedometer/Sleep Monitor Sync, Weather, Lost Alert, Voice Assist.
• iOS: Camera Remote, Music Remote, Find Phone, SMS, Mail, Social Media Notifications (notifications only, no replies), Pedometer/Sleep Monitor Sync, Weather, Lost Alert, Voice Assist.

Changing Your iTouch Pulse's Strap

Your iTouch Pulse is customizable with interchangeable straps. Purchase straps online at www.iTOUCHWearables.com or from retailers.

1. To remove: Turn the watch face down. Locate the silver pins on the strap near the watch case. Pull the pin to the left and detach the strap.
2. To attach: Align the pin with the hole on the watch case. Pull the lever on the strap to retract the pin, position the strap, and release the lever to secure the pin.
3. Repeat for the other strap.

Watch Functions and Operation

• Bluetooth: Search and pair with other Bluetooth devices.
• Contacts: Sync phone contacts (up to 1,000) when fully connected.
• Messaging: Requires the iTOUCH Smartwatch app and full connection. Not active for iOS (messages appear under Notifier).
• Phone Dialer: Make calls from your iTouch Pulse when connected to your phone.
• Call Logs: View incoming (green arrow), outgoing (orange arrow), and missed (blue question mark) calls.
• Music: Control music playback on your phone.
• Notifier: View up to 10 recent incoming notifications, including iOS messages.
• Camera Remote: Use your iTOUCH to take photos and videos remotely. Ensure Bluetooth connection, open phone's camera app, select Camera icon on iTOUCH, and tap 'Capture'.
• Heart Rate Monitor: Select the icon and hold your finger on the heart icon to measure heart rate. The watch will display "Measuring". (Normal resting heart rate is 60-100 bpm for adults).

Settings

• BT Settings: Manage Bluetooth Power and Visibility.
• Clock: Select clock faces, sync time with phone, set date and time manually, and choose 12hr/24hr format.
• Sound: Select ringtones, alert types, and notification tones.
• Volume: Adjust volume for multimedia, ringtones, and notifications.
• Display: Adjust Main Menu Style, screen Brightness, and Screen Timeout.
• International: Auto Sync language from phone or manually select language. Set Name Display format for contacts.
• Units: Choose between metric and imperial units.
• Motion: Enable/disable wrist gestures for muting calls/alarms, waking the screen, returning to the menu, and answering calls.
• Reset: Erase all data from your iTouch Pulse.
• About: View general information about your iTouch Pulse.
• Find Phone: Activate phone or watch alarm.

• Alarms: Set up to 5 individual alarms.
• Sedentary: Set alerts to remind you to move.
• Sleep: Monitor sleep quality and view sleep history.
• Pedometer: Track daily steps and sync with the app.
• Stopwatch: Use the built-in stopwatch with lap timer.
• Weather: View current and future weather forecasts when connected.
• Calculator: Perform basic calculations.
• Calendar: View dates and the monthly calendar.
• Voice Assist: Access Siri (iOS) or OK Google/S Voice (Android) via the watch.

Important Notes

The iTouch Pulse battery is not removable. If the watch is idle for over a month, the battery may be fully drained and require charging before powering on. Connect the watch to the charger; it should power up within seconds.
