SpeedyBee Master 5 V2 Drone Frame Installation Guide

Note: 3D effect requirements, the actual object shall prevail.

Part 1: Core Frame Assembly

1. CNC Camera Mount & Side Plate Installation

Step 1: Install Front Top Plate

Mount the front top plate using M2*3 screws. Attach the camera side plate.

Step 2: Install Multi-Function Antenna Base

Choose a suitable VTX antenna base (e.g., SMA antenna base, O3 Air Unit antenna base). Install the plate on one side with the GPS base. Install the T-shaped antenna. Attach the other side plate. Use M2.5*8 screws for the GPS installation base (size: 18x18x8mm).

Antenna Sequence

Insert the O-ring into the antenna to secure it on the TPU antenna base.

2. Arms & Middle Plate Installation

Note: Differentiate between front and back arms.

Step 3: Install Arms and Anti-Vibration Module

Attach arms to the bottom plate using screws (M3*14, M3*11). Install the anti-vibration stack module to its corresponding position. Orient for drone head direction. Secure screws on both sides. Install all 4 arms.

Step 4: Install Middle Plate

Mount the middle plate on 6 screw positions. This plate provides space for the capacitor and buzzer.

Step 5: Frame Combination

Combine the frame with the CNC camera mount. Install 7075 standoffs. Attach the bottom protection silicone (0.5mm). Combine the frame and antenna base. Tighten press-in nuts (M2*8) at arm intersections.

Part 2: Electronic & Accessory Installation

3. Rear Components

Step 6: Install Rear Top Plate & Battery Silicone

Install the stack protector (M2*4 screws). Attach the rear top plate and battery anti-slip silicone (2.5mm) using M3*6 screws.

Step 7: Arm Foot Mount

Install the 3D printed foot mount to the arms. Use appropriate screws based on motor mount height.

4. O3 Air Unit & ESC

Step 8: Install O3 Air Unit Components

Remove 4 original screws from O3 Air Unit bottom. Mount Master honeycomb heat sink. Route O3 Air Unit 6P flex cable through VTX top.

Step 9: ESC Installation & Wiring

Recommend ESC horizontal 180° reverse installation. *Note:* Redefine motor 1-4 positions/directions after reverse ESC install. Recommended ESC power cable length: ~100mm (adjust for battery). Recommended motor wire lengths: Inner 110mm, Outer 93mm. Identify main power cable exit point.

5. Connectors

Step 10: Buzzer & Capacitor

Connect buzzer to flight controller (marked to BZ+, unmarked to BZ-). Install capacitor.

Use M3*6 button head hex socket screws for TPU head protection.
Default screws: M3*8mm, M3*10mm.
