Tow-Trust Towbars

Bumper Removal:
- Open the rear tailgate and remove the rear light clusters, two fixings either side.
- Remove four fixings in each wheel arch, one tip fixing either side, two fixings on the bumper lower edge.
- Grand Sport Only: Remove the rear number plate to expose two bumper fixings and remove.
- Starting at the bumper tips, carefully release the bumper from the vehicle body.
- Remove the rear impact beam. (The rear impact beam is not refitted with the towbar assembly).
Towbar Installation:
- Clean any mastic from the chassis openings, then insert Items B and loosely fix in place using Items F and Items M.
- Grand Sport Only: Slide Items C over Items B and onto the mounting studs on the rear panel.
- Slide Item A over Items B and fix to the rear panel using the items and fixing pattern shown. Ensure the exhaust hanger is fixed to the lower two mounting points.
- Using Item F with Item M, fix Item B to Item A.
- Fix Item D and Item E to Item A using Item J with Item R and Item K with Item R.
- Fully tighten all fixings, ensuring the towbar is rigid, square, and secure.
- Cut the rear bumper as per the sketch below and refit.
- Grand Sport Only: Using Item L, fix the rear bumper to Item A.

Main Towbar Assembly Diagram:

Measurements provided include 110mm, 215mm, 80mm, 160mm, 45mm, and 90mm, indicating the precise areas to be removed from the bumper.
Notes:
- Recommended Torque Setting for M12 Grade 10.9 is 130 Nm. For other torque settings, please refer to notes overleaf.
- Nose load limits and vehicle manufacturer's trailer/caravan weight limits must be observed.
