Control Panel Description

Diagram of the control panel buttons:

  • 1. ON / OFF: For switching the oven on and off and for stopping an active function.
  • 2. MENU / FUNCTIONS DIRECT ACCESS: For quick access to the functions and menu.
  • 3. NAVIGATION BUTTON MINUS: For scrolling through a menu and decreasing the settings or values of a function.
  • 4. BACK: For returning to the previous screen. During cooking, allows settings to be changed.
  • 5. DISPLAY
  • 6. CONFIRM: For confirming a selected function or a set value.
  • 7. NAVIGATION BUTTON PLUS: For scrolling through a menu and increasing the settings or values of a function.
  • 8. OPTIONS / FUNCTIONS DIRECT ACCESS: For quick access to the functions, settings and favorites.
  • 9. START: For starting a function using the specified or basic settings.

Accessories

Before purchasing other accessories, ensure they are heat-resistant and suitable for steaming. Maintain a gap of at least 30 mm between the container top and oven walls for steam flow. Accessories may get hot during microwave use; use protection.

Wire Shelf

Suitable for all cooking modes, including Microwave. Use on level 1 for microwaves. Can be used directly with food or to support other ovenware.

Baking Tray

Suitable for all cooking modes except "Microwave". Can cook food without a container and collects cooking juices.

Crisp Plate

For designated functions only. Must be placed in the center of the wire shelf. Can be pre-heated. Place food directly on the plate. Use silicone feet for stability.

Handle for Crisp Plate

Useful for removing the hot Crisp plate.

Steamer* (Only in some models)

For steaming fish or vegetables: place food in basket (2), add 100 ml water to steamer bottom (3). For boiling: place food directly in steamer bottom (basket not required) with water. Cover with lid (1). Always use on wire shelf at level 1 and with appropriate functions or microwave.

Inserting Accessories

Wire shelf: tilt upwards, rest raised rear side down first, then slide horizontally. Other accessories: slide horizontally onto runners. Ensure accessories do not touch the oven door.

Removing and Refitting Ladder Racks

Ladder racks are removable for cleaning. To remove, grip the external part of the guide, pull upwards while rotating on the rear support, then slide out. To refit, slide the back part onto the rear support, anchor it, push down until inserted into the frontal support.

First Time Use

  1. Select Language

    Set language and time. "English" will display initially. Use [+] or [-] buttons to scroll through languages and [Confirm] to select. Language can be changed later in "SETTINGS" menu.

  2. Set Time

    Set the current hour using [+] or [-] buttons, then [Confirm]. Set minutes similarly. Time may need resetting after power outages.

  3. Set Power Consumption

    The oven defaults to a power level compatible with a 3 kW (16 A) domestic network. Decrease to 13 A if your household uses lower power. Select "POWER" in "SETTINGS".

  4. Heat the Oven

    For new ovens, heat empty to 200°C for one hour using "Fast Preheat" to remove manufacturing odours. Remove protective materials first. Odours/smoke are normal initially. Air the room afterwards.

For perfect cooking and browning on top and bottom. Requires preheating. Use with baking tray or wire shelf and heatproof container.

Forced Air

Crisp

For perfect browning on top and bottom. Use only with the special Crisp plate. Required accessories: wire shelf (level 1), Crisp plate, handle for Crisp plate.

Combines crisp function with warm air circulation for crunchy frying with reduced oil. Brush fresh foods with oil; cook frozen foods without oil. Required accessories: wire shelf (level 1), Crisp plate, handle for Crisp plate.

Automatically calculates optimum settings based on food type and weight/quantity. Follow cooking tables. Adjust duration based on food doneness.

For reheating ready-made food. Oven calculates best results quickly. Place food on a microwave-safe plate/dish on wire shelf (level 1).

My Menu Sense Defrost

Quickly defrosts food. Place food in a container on the wire shelf (except Crisp Bread Defrost). Allow food to stand for 5 minutes after defrosting.

Crisp Bread Defrost

Defrosts and heats frozen bread using Defrost and Crisp technologies. Use Crisp Plate. For rolls, baguettes, croissants.

Special Functions

Keep Warm

Keeps cooked food hot and crisp.

Rising

For proving dough. Do not activate if oven is hot. Use with wire shelf and heatproof container.

Yogurt

For making yogurt. Use with wire shelf and heatproof container.

Dehydration

Dehydrates fruits and vegetables. Cut thinly and place on wire shelf.

Maxi-Cooking

For large meat joints (over 2.5 kg). Turn meat for even browning. Baste to prevent drying. Use baking tray (level 2).

Eco Cycle

For cooking stuffed joints/fillets on one shelf. Oven light is off. Do not open door until cooking is complete to optimize power consumption. Use with wire shelf and pan/baking tray.

Diamond Clean

Steam cleaning cycle for dirt and residue removal. Pour 200 ml water into the cold oven. Follow prompts to activate cycle. Do not open door during cycle. Wipe interior after cooling.

Cook 3

Cooks different foods at the same temperature on three levels simultaneously without mixing flavours/smells. Use for cookies, tarts, frozen pizzas, complete meals. Requires preheating.

Cook 3 Menu 1 (Meat Meal + Dessert)

Example: Fruit tart (level 3), lasagna (level 2), chicken drumsticks with potatoes (level 1). Bake simultaneously. Remove tart (50-60 min), lasagna (60-70 min), chicken (80-90 min).

Cook 3 Menu 2 (Fish/Vegetarian Meal + Dessert)

Example: Fruit tart (level 3), pesto lasagna/cannelloni (level 2), fish fillets with vegetables (level 1). Bake simultaneously. Remove tart (45-55 min), lasagna (55-65 min), fish (60-70 min).

Minuteminder

Timer function without activating a cooking function.

Favorites

Retrieve a list of up to 20 favorite functions.

Settings

Adjust oven settings. "ECO" mode reduces display brightness. "DEMO" mode allows function testing without heating; deactivate via "SETTINGS". "FACTORY RESET" returns to initial settings.

Daily Use

  1. Select a Function

    Press [Power] to switch on. Select main functions or scroll through menus using arrow buttons and [Confirm]. Display suggests suitable levels.

  2. Set the Function

    Adjust settings like Temperature/Power, Duration, or End Time using arrow buttons and [Confirm].

    Temperature/Power:

    Press [+] or [-] to change value, then [Confirm]. Microwave power/grill level can be set similarly. Grill has 3 levels: 3 (high), 2 (mid), 1 (low). Microwave power may reduce to 500W with other functions.

    Duration:

    Press [+] or [-] to set time, then [Confirm]. Can be adjusted during cooking. For untimed cooking, press [Confirm] to start.

    End Time (Start Delay):

    For functions without microwave, set desired end time. Oven starts automatically to finish at that time. Preheating is disabled for delayed start. Pressing [Info] toggles between End Time and Duration display.

  3. My Menu Functions

    Automatically select best cooking mode, temperature, duration. Indicate food characteristics for optimal results. Set weight/portions/batch/pieces and doneness level.

  4. Activate the Function

    Press [Start] to activate with default or set values. Press [Start] during delay phase to skip and start immediately. Press [Stop] to stop function. If oven is hot, a message may appear; return to previous screen or wait for cooling.

    Jet Start:

    When oven is off, press [Start] for 30 seconds of full power microwave cooking.

  5. Preheating

    Some functions have a preheating phase indicated on display. After preheating, an audible signal sounds, and display shows oven has reached temperature. Open door, add food, close door, press [Start] or [Confirm]. Do not open door during preheating. Cooking time does not include preheating. Temperature can be changed using [+] or [-].

  6. Pause Cooking / Add or Turn Food

    Pause:

    Open door to pause cooking (heating elements deactivate). Close door and press [Start] to resume. For My Menu functions, open door only when prompted.

    Add or Turn Food:

    Some recipes prompt for adding ingredients or turning food. An audible signal sounds. Open door, perform action, close door, press [Start] to continue. "ADD FOOD" phase lasts 2 minutes. If no action is taken, function ends. Oven may prompt to "Check on Food".

    Check on Food:

    An audible signal sounds. Check food, close door, press [Start] or [Confirm] to continue. Press [Skip] to bypass. Otherwise, oven continues cooking.

  7. End of Cooking

    An audible signal indicates cooking is complete. Press [Start] to continue in manual mode or [+] to extend time. Parameters are retained.

  8. Favorites

    Save up to 20 favorite functions. After cooking, prompt to save function (1-20). Press [+] or [-] to select number, then [Confirm]. Overwrite existing if memory is full or number is taken. Access saved functions by pressing [Favorites icon].

  9. Diamond Clean Function

    Press and select "Diamond Clean". Press [Start] to activate. Follow prompts for cleaning. Press [Start] when done. Do not open door during cycle. Wipe interior after cooling.

  10. Minuteminder

    When oven is off, press [Minuteminder icon] to use as a timer. Set time with [+] or [-], then press [Start]. Signal sounds when time is up. Can be activated during a function; timer counts down in background. Press [Stop] to retrieve screen.

Minuteminder & Keylock

Minuteminder

Press [+] or [-] to set time, then [Start] to activate. Signal sounds when countdown finishes. Can be activated during a function; timer counts down in background. Press [Stop] to retrieve screen.

Keylock

Press and hold [Keylock icon] for 3 seconds to lock/unlock keypad. Can be activated during cooking. Oven can be switched off anytime by pressing [Power].

Attention! (Microwave Safety)

  • Metal contact can cause sparks, damaging appliance or door glass.
  • Keep metal components (e.g., teaspoons) at least 2 cm from oven walls and door.
  • Accessories stacked directly on each other can generate sparks.
  • Do not combine grill with the dripping pan.
  • Insert accessories at their respective heights. Drip tray/baking tray not suitable for microwave-only operation.
  • Sparks can damage the cooking compartment.
  • Use supplied grill as a support base.
  • Aluminum trays can cause sparks and damage. Do not use them.
  • Operating without food can lead to overload.
  • Never start microwave without food, except for short tests. High power popcorn can crack door panel.
  • Do not set microwave power too high. Use maximum 600 watts.
  • Always place popcorn bag on a glass plate.

Useful Tips

Microwave Cooking Tips

Space items for maximum surface exposure. Cut food into equal sizes for uniform cooking. Allow standing time for residual cooking. Remove twist ties from packaging. Score or perforate plastic film to prevent bursting.

Liquids

Liquids may superheat. Stir liquids before heating and immerse a teaspoon to prevent sudden boiling. Stir again before removing.

Frozen Food

Defrost directly on wire shelf or use a light plastic microwave-safe container.

Food for Infants

Stir and check temperature of baby food/bottles before serving to ensure even heat distribution and prevent scalding. Remove container lid/teat before heating.

Cakes and Bread

Use "Forced Air" for cakes/bread. Use "Convection Bake" for cakes with liquid. Use "Forced Air + Microwave" (160W) for softer results. Use dark metal cake tins on wire shelf.

Meat and Fish

Combine convection heating and microwave cooking for quick surface browning and juicy interior. Use 160W microwave power.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Ensure oven is cool before cleaning. Do not use steam cleaners. Wear protective gloves.

Exterior Surfaces

Clean with a damp microfibre cloth. Use pH-neutral detergent for stubborn dirt. Dry with a cloth. Avoid corrosive/abrasive detergents.

Interior Surfaces

Clean after each use while still warm to remove deposits. Dry condensation with a cloth or sponge. Activate "Diamond Clean" for optimum cleaning. Clean door glass with suitable detergent.

Accessories

Soak accessories in washing-up liquid solution. Handle hot accessories with oven gloves. Remove food residues with a washing-up brush or sponge.

Troubleshooting
