Proscenic APP User Guide
To experience all advanced features, it is recommended to control your robot vacuum via the Proscenic App.
1. How to Connect your Robot Vacuum with the Proscenic APP
Before you start, make sure that:
- Your robot vacuum is on and has enough power during setup.
- Your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. If your router is dual-band, please select the 2.4GHz network.
- The WiFi name and password are correct; avoid using emojis or special characters.
- Keep the robot vacuum and your mobile device as close as possible to the router when connecting.
1.1 APP Download and Installation
Search for Proscenic APP on the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
Alternatively, scan the QR code provided to download the APP.
1.2 WiFi Connection
Follow these steps to connect your robot vacuum to Wi-Fi:
- Open the Proscenic APP and create a new account or log in. Agree to the Terms and Conditions for the connection.
- Click "Add device" and select your robot vacuum model.
- Press and hold the [power button] and [home button] for 5 seconds until the WiFi indicator light flashes.
WiFi Indicator Light Status:
Status | Meaning |
---|---|
Slowly flashing blue | Waiting for connection |
Rapidly flashing blue | Connecting with your wireless router |
Solid blue | Connected with your wireless router |
1.2 WiFi Connection (Continued)
- Select the same 2.4GHz WiFi network your smartphone is connected to and enter the WiFi password.
- Go to your phone's WiFi settings and connect to the robot vacuum's hotspot, named "Proscenic-XXX-XXXXXXX".
- Return to the Proscenic APP and complete the WiFi connection.
Network Configuration Instructions:
- Ensure the Wi-Fi password is entered correctly.
- Verify the network environment is 2.4GHz. If your router is dual-band, ensure SSIDs for 2.4GHz and 5GHz are distinct.
- Check if MAC address filtering is enabled on your router or if the number of assigned IP addresses has reached the limit.
- If pairing failure persists, contact customer service at support@proscenic.cn.
2. How to Control your Robot Vacuum with Alexa
Before you start, make sure that:
- Your robot vacuum is on and has enough power during setup.
- Your robot vacuum is successfully connected to the Proscenic APP.
- You have an Alexa-enabled device, such as an Amazon Echo Dot.
- The Amazon Alexa APP is installed on your smartphone and connected to the Wi-Fi network.
2.1 Alexa Connection
Follow these steps to link your Proscenic account with Alexa:
- Open the Proscenic APP and click "Profile".
- Click "Amazon Alexa".
- Click "Sign In With Amazon" to be redirected to the Alexa APP.
- Click "LINK" to enable the Proscenic skill.
- After authorization, your Proscenic account will be successfully linked to Alexa.
2.2 Alexa Voice Command
Switch On/Off:
- Alexa, turn on <device name>
- Alexa, turn off <device name>
Change Working Mode:
- Alexa, set <device name> to <spot>
- Alexa, set <device name> to <dock>
- Alexa, set <device name> to <smart>
- Alexa, set <device name> to <mop>
- Alexa, what is the mode on <device name>?
Change Suction Level:
- Alexa, set <device name> fan speed to <one>
- Alexa, set <device name> fan speed to <two>
- Alexa, set <device name> fan speed to <three>
- Alexa, what is the fanspeed on <device name>?
Ask about Battery Level:
- Alexa, what is the battery level on <device name>?
3. How to Control your Robot Vacuum with the Google Assistant
Before you start, make sure that:
- Your robot vacuum is on and has enough power during setup.
- Your robot vacuum is successfully connected to the Proscenic APP.
- You have a Google Assistant-enabled device, such as a Google Home Mini.
- The Google Home APP is installed on your smartphone and connected to the Wi-Fi network.
3.1 Google Assistant Connection
Follow these steps to link your Proscenic account with Google Assistant:
- Open the Proscenic APP and click "Profile".
- Click "Google Home".
- Click "Link with Google Assistant" to be redirected to the Google Home APP.
- Click "Agree and link".
- Choose your robot vacuum device and click "Next".
- Select your home and click "Next".
- Choose a location for your robot vacuum and click "Next". Your device is now linked to Google Assistant successfully.
3.2 Google Assistant Voice Command
Switch On/Off:
- Ok Google, start <device name>
- Ok Google, stop <device name>
Change Working Mode:
- OK Google, set <device name> to <spot>
- OK Google, set <device name> to <dock>
- OK Google, set <device name> to <smart>
- OK Google, set <device name> to <mop>
Change Suction Level:
- OK Google, set fanspeed to <three> on <device name>
- OK Google, set fanspeed to <one> on <device name>
- OK Google, set fanspeed to <two> on <device name>
Ask about Battery Level:
- OK Google, What is the <device name> battery level?
4. Troubleshooting
Robot vacuum not connecting to WiFi:
- Ensure the Wi-Fi password is entered correctly.
- Keep the robot vacuum, router, and mobile phone close for a strong signal.
- Confirm your Wi-Fi router supports 2.4GHz; 5GHz is not supported.
Robot vacuum not controllable with Amazon Alexa:
- Check your mobile device's network connection.
- Ensure the robot is connected to the Proscenic APP.
- Verify the "Proscenic" Skill is enabled in the Alexa APP.
- Confirm your robot has been discovered in the Alexa APP.
- Use correct Alexa voice commands.
Robot vacuum not controllable with Google Assistant:
- Check your mobile device's network connection.
- Ensure the robot is connected to the Proscenic APP.
- Verify the "Proscenic" Skill is enabled in the Google Home APP.
- Confirm your robot has been connected in the Google Home APP.
- Use correct Google Assistant voice commands.
