System Overview

This guide details the USB application for the RCU2S-E70 system, connecting the Poly Studio E70 with Sound Control Technologies' RCU2S-CE and RCU2S-HE modules using SCTLink cables and specific power supplies.

Poly Studio E70 to RCU2S-CE Connection

The Poly Studio E70 connects to the RCU2S-CE module using the following cables:

The RCU2S-CE™ module is identified as the "Camera End" and supports a "RemoteCamUSB2™ Single Cable Powered Link" utilizing CAT5e/6 STP/UTP cable, with T568A or T568B termination.

RCU2S-CE to RCU2S-HE Connection

The RCU2S-CE module connects to the RCU2S-HE module via an SCTLink™ Cable, which transmits Power, Control & Video. This cable must be a single, point-to-point CAT cable, ensuring no couplers or interconnections are used.

The RCU2S-HE™ module is designated as the "Head End" and includes a "Field-Upgradeable microSD Slot".

RCU2S-HE to Poly G7500 Connection

The RCU2S-HE module connects to the Poly G7500 using the following cable:

Power Supply

The system is powered by a WPS-12 30VDC Power Supply (100-240V 47-63Hz), which connects to the RCU2S-HE module.

SCTLink™ Cable Specifications

SCTLink™ cables are integrator-supplied CAT5e/CAT6 STP/UTP cables, supporting T568A or T568B termination, with a maximum operational length of 100 meters.
