Note: This manual applies to the SLT-2201 Performance Blender. Contents are for user reference during operation and maintenance. Pictures are for reference only. The company reserves the right to interpret any printing errors or misunderstandings.

Please review the following safety instructions carefully:
- Read all instructions before use.
- Handle with care during unpacking and setup.
- Blades are sharp; handle with caution.
- Always turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning, removing parts, or when not in use.
- Do not submerge the appliance or power cord in liquid to prevent electric shock.
- For indoor household use only.

- Extension cords are not recommended.
- Close supervision is required when used by or near children.
- Inspect blade assemblies for damage before each use.
- Do not attempt to sharpen blades.
- Do not let the cord hang over edges or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near hot surfaces.
- Always use on a dry, level surface.
- Keep hands, hair, and clothing away from the container during operation.
- Do not operate with an empty container or exceed maximum fill lines.
- Do not microwave containers.
- Remove utensils before operation.
- Keep hands and utensils (except the tamper) out of the container while blending.
- Never operate without lids and caps in place.
- Do not expose containers to extreme temperature changes.
- Never leave the appliance unattended while in use.
- Always operate with the cover in place.
- Allow to cool before disassembling or cleaning.
- Use protective hot pads or insulated mitts when handling hot jars.
- If ingredients stick to the sides, stop the appliance and use a scraper; never insert hands.
- Allow the appliance to stop completely before removing the lid and jar.
- If the appliance overheats, unplug it and let it cool for 15 minutes.
- Do not blend hot liquids or operate in heating mode using the travel mug.
- When blending hot liquids, open or remove non-pouring lids and close pouring openings.
- Never add food while the appliance is operating.
- Do not immerse cord, plugs, or motor base in water or other liquid.
- Do not use for other than intended use.
- Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during brewing cycles.
Grounded Plug
This appliance has a grounding plug for electric shock protection. Ensure it is plugged into a properly installed and grounded outlet. Consult a qualified electrician if unsure.
Power Cord Instructions
Use of a short power-supply cord is recommended. If a longer cord or extension cord is used, ensure its electrical rating is at least as great as the appliance's, it is a grounding type 3-wire cord, and it is arranged to prevent tripping hazards.

Getting Started with Your Blender
Before First Use
- Remove all packaging and labels.
- Wash removable parts with warm, soapy water using a handled dishwashing utensil to avoid blade contact. Do not submerge the Jar Base.
- Rinse and air-dry all parts thoroughly.
Assembling the Blender
- Place the base on a clean, dry, level surface.

- Add ingredients, respecting the max fill lines. For HEAT mode, do not exceed the "Soup" line; for BLEND mode, do not exceed the "Cold" line. - To lock the lid: Align the lid's tab to the right of the handle, press down until secure, then rotate the tab clockwise to align with the jar's handle arrow. - To remove the lid: Rotate counterclockwise and lift. Be cautious of steam after using heated functions.
Using the Travel Mug
- Place the Travel Mug Base on the blender's Motor Base.
- Fill the Travel Mug with ingredients and secure the Travel Mug Blade Assembly.

- Press the "Smoothie" or "Travel Mug" function to blend. The blender stops automatically when the time elapses.
Additional Assembly Information
To attach the Travel Mug Blade Assembly: Align the triangle symbol on the assembly with the locking notch on the Travel Mug. Twist clockwise to secure. Ensure it's fully tightened before placing on the Travel Mug Base. To remove the Travel Mug from the base, align the arrow mark with the unlock symbol and twist clockwise.
Control Panel Functions

To begin, ensure the Glass Jar or Travel Mug assembly is properly positioned on the Motor Base. Then, select your desired program from the Control Panel.
TIP: For thicker recipes like ice creams or dips, use the tamper to push ingredients towards the blades. The tamper should only be used when the Jar Lid is attached to the Glass Jar; remove the center cap and insert the tamper.
Button Functions
Preset Functions
- Keep Warm: Heats drinks/foods to a set temperature (100°F to 160°F, adjustable in 10°F increments).
- Blend: Crushes ice or blends food at speeds 1-9, adjustable with +/- buttons.
- Pulse: Short bursts of blending. Press and release for short cycles, hold for longer cycles.
- Delay Timer: Sets a timed start for specific presets (Nut Milk, Purée, Warm Drink, Sauce, Nut Butter, Smoothie, Smooth Soup, Hearty Soup). Max delay is 12 hours.
- Clean: Cleans the jar using high speeds and heat. Fill with 24 oz. water and 1-2 drops of dish soap. Use caution as the jar will be hot after the cycle.
- Start/Cancel: Starts or cancels a selected function. The button lights up in standby mode.
- Frozen Drink: Blends drinks with ice for 3 minutes, with variable speeds.
- Smoothie: Blends smoothies for 1 minute 10 seconds with variable speeds for smooth results.
- Nut Butter: Makes nut butter in 5 minutes, using heating and blending cycles.
- Crushed Ice: Blends drinks with ice for 1 minute at high speed.
- Purée: Purées fruits and vegetables for 2 minutes 30 seconds with variable speeds.
- Sauce/Warm Drink: Makes warm sauces and drinks using heating and blending for 8 minutes total.
- Nut Milk: Makes nut milks using heating and blending.
- Travel Mug: For quick smoothies and snacks on-the-go. Use with the Travel Mug assembly. Preset time is 45 seconds with a pause.
- Hearty Soup: Makes hearty soups. Starts with heating, then blends for 30 minutes with intermittent blending.
- Smooth Soup: Makes smooth soups. Starts with heating, then blends for 30 minutes with intermittent and final high-speed blending.
Care & Maintenance
Cleaning
- Allow parts to cool before cleaning. Separate all parts.
- Hand-Washing: Wash Glass Jar, Jar Lid, and Tamper with warm, soapy water and the cleaning brush. Do not submerge the Glass Jar.
- Dishwasher Safe: Jar Lid, Filler Cap, and Tamper are dishwasher safe. Do not wash the Glass Jar in the dishwasher.
- Motor Base: Unplug and wipe with a clean, damp cloth.
Using CLEAN Button
This cycle removes residue using heat and rapid pulses.
- Fill jar with 24 oz. water and 2 drops of dish soap.
- Place and secure the lid.
- Press CLEAN.
- After the cycle, discard water and rinse the jar.
Tips for best cleaning: Rinse the jar before running CLEAN. Run the CLEAN cycle immediately after use.
Storing
Store the unit upright with the lid secured. Do not stack items on the unit. Store attachments in a cabinet.

Recipes
Almond Milk
Recipe Level: Easy | Makes: About 4 cups
Ingredients:
- 1 cup skins-removed soaked unseasoned raw almonds*
- 4 cups hot water
- 1 tablespoon mild honey or maple syrup
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Place all ingredients in the Blender Jar.
- Place Jar on Base, secure Lid.
- Press START; press NUT MILK; press START again.
- When signal sounds, pour milk into a nut milk bag over a bowl.
- Gently squeeze bag to strain milk; discard pulp or restrain for smoother consistency.
- Use a funnel to pour strained milk into a jar or bottle.
- Refrigerate and use within 3 days; shake or stir before using.
*For best results, soak almonds at least 12 hours or overnight.
Serving Suggestion: Spiced Hot Cocoa
Combine 2 cups Almond Milk, 2 tbsp cocoa (stirred with 2 tbsp hot water), 1½ tsp vanilla, 2 tsp cinnamon, ½ tsp ginger, ¼ tsp cloves, ⅛ tsp nutmeg in the Blender Jar. Place Jar on Base, secure Lid. Press START; press WARM DRINK; press START again. Pour into mugs when done.
Butternut Squash & Apple Soup
Recipe Level: Easy | Makes: About 5 cups
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 small onion, coarsely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth
- 4 cups cubed raw butternut squash
- 1 small Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored, halved
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup half-and-half or milk (optional)
- Sour cream or yogurt, roasted pumpkin seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Heat oil in skillet; sauté onions and garlic until softened.
- Add sautéed mixture to Blender Jar with broth, squash, apple, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- Place Jar on Base, secure Lid.
- Press START; press SMOOTH SOUP; press START again.
- When signal sounds, carefully lift hot Jar off Base using handle and potholder.
- Remove Lid and pour soup into a container. Stir in half-and-half and garnish if desired.
Chicken Soup with Orzo
Recipe Level: Easy | Makes: About 6 cups
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 small onion, coarsely chopped
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 medium carrot, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 stalk celery, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth or stock
- 8 oz uncooked skinless boneless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tsp each chopped fresh rosemary and thyme
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup orzo (rice-shaped) pasta
Instructions:
- Heat oil in skillet; sauté onion, garlic, ginger, and turmeric until softened.
- Add sautéed mixture to Blender Jar with carrot, celery, broth, chicken, rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper, and orzo.
- Place Jar on Base, secure Lid.
- Press START; press HEARTY SOUP; press START again.
- When signal sounds, carefully lift hot Jar off Base using handle and potholder.
- Remove Lid and pour soup into a container.
Spicy Marinara Sauce
Recipe Level: Easy | Makes: 4 cups
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs ripe Roma tomatoes, washed
- ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil, divided
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 large cloves garlic, sliced
- Kosher salt and black pepper
- 2 tbsp torn fresh basil leaves
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (or to taste)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste (optional)
Instructions:
- Boil water in a saucepot. Prepare an ice bath in a large bowl.
- Score the bottom of each tomato with an "x".
- Blanch tomatoes in boiling water for 1-1½ minutes until skins shrivel.
- Transfer tomatoes to ice bath; peel and discard skins.
- Cut skinned tomatoes in half, then quarters; gently squeeze out seeds. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in skillet; sauté onions and garlic until softened.
- Add sautéed mixture to Blender Jar with tomatoes, red pepper flakes, basil, and remaining 3 tbsp olive oil.
- Place Jar on Base, secure Lid. Press START. Press and release PULSE until desired consistency.
- Season to taste. Serve over pasta, or heat with tomato paste for 15 minutes.
- Store sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator; use or freeze within 1 week.
Tropical Green Smoothie
Recipe Level: Easy | Makes: 2 to 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 cup packed spinach leaves
- ½ cup packed kale
- 1 small orange, peeled and halved
- ½ cup frozen mango cubes
- ½ cup frozen pineapple cubes
- ½ cup frozen papaya cubes
- Half a small frozen banana
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut water
Instructions:
- Place all ingredients in the Blender Jar in the order given.
- Place Jar on Base, secure Lid.
- Press START; press SMOOTHIE; press START again.
- When signal sounds, pour into glasses and serve.
Variation: Use 1½ cups of a single frozen fruit (mango, papaya, or pineapple).
